Sorry for the late response. I grew up with Zohrabai, Rattan, Naushad and Karan dewan's movies ! Zohrabai was unique ! Even Lata has praised her ! My father liked heavier voices like Zohra. Amirbai Noorjahan and Shamshad's. He did not like thin reedy voices like Lata's but we all love her, right ? Pasand apni apni, khayal apna apna !

It should be spelt as "AMBALEWALI" with an M , not N, right ? In my view, he best song was the mujra from the old " Mela "
