A couple years ago, I couldn't stare at a screen for 3 or more hours. I've used the computer over 80-90 hours a week, and now, I can stare endlessly for 10 hours. No excessive blinking. Muahaha

LCD monitors are bad if you want to get a good monitor get a ASUS led lcd monitor in whatever size. Get a Antec 6 led Bias light strip. Make sure your LCD

isn't too dark cause that can strain the eyes more then a bright one. Turn your settings down with the Graphics card. Get a Good graphics card like a EVGA onboard isn't always the best. I had serious pricklying and burning sensations of the face and arms for the longest time.

0:38, as if LCD monitors don't flicker, only thing is LCD filcker damages the nervous system instead of the eyes themselves.

oh and lets not forget the dithering that almost all LCD monitors have (except for most IPS and VA panels, which don't come in sizes under 24inch) due to the 6bit displays they have to flicker EVEN MORE between two colours to display the missing colours (and at 64 times less colours thats a lot of flickering) which strains the eyes.

a decent CRT is better for the eyes.

480Hz only for internal tv and blu-ray only

if u go into your video card control panel, it wont say 480hz. It will say 59Hz, 60Hz , 65Hz , 70Hz , 75Hz, or 120Hz ( MAX )

I also have 120Hz Samsung 650 series and a Panasonic 600hz plasma TV. I play games on both TV running two ATI 4890HD in crossfire.

Call of duty can do 120Hz which is best for Samsung Syncmaster 2233RZ

no other games can do 120Hz or higher.
