Being a melee man myself, its fun to watch a mage at work :D But seriously, I'd have to wait till g9 to get practical use for fireball in mid-dungeon. Thats alot of mp >.>;

if ur talking about alchemic fireball, then u might as well jus get normal fb. alchamic fb does rely low damage as in sometimes it can do 1 dmg to a fox

I love Fireball because it gives total +8 str at rank 1

Sick of hearing how people say Fireball doesn't get the attention it deserved, but it's often over-perceived as a better means of clearing rooms than Ice Spear and Thunder. People forget, a full charge thunder will always do the most dmg of all 3 spells, One charge thunder spam is more efficient than fireball alone, Full charge ice spear is more efficient than fireball alone, and if you complain about the distance of thunder just use pets to pull them together, duh.

because using pets to pull a buncha mobs together is "efficient" and definitely foolproof.

Get sick all you want then if you cant accept there are areas fireball will help alot more than the other 2 adv spells then oh well.

the spark distance between monsters is shorter than crossbow range and its very random which direction its going to chain.

Trying to force using thunder on situations where fireball is clearly better is just stubborn. It doesnt take much to rank C fireball

thunder should be easy soon enough. The hardest page is page 4 and its dropping in price.

Just do a couple rabbie basic runs solo and you should be able to afford it =)

With G9, far far away from us, there's alchemy where you can cast 1 fireball, woopee... and the other thing, is that there's a skill where you can make a wall and the enemy will attack the wall :P giving you time to cast a 1 charge fireball.

But yeah.. longggg longgggg

yeah being a mage I'm not so approving of the idea that alchemy is pretty much magic, exact same except its item based. Not to mention other than the 3 elements they have golem life leech and that wall you talked about.

It seems more versatile and all that.
