chinese car - 2007 MG TF ZT model at autoshow

So far Ive had a PT Cruiser...SHIT. So i thought id try a 300C.....SHIT. Last year I bought an MG ZT CDTi with 98k on the clock as a daily driver. Its never let me down and runs 100%. Sits at 100mph all day if needed and i average at least 40mpg. American cars are appalling, terrible shut lines, rot like an old shed, and have very little power considering the engine size. They pitch and wallow through corners like a series 1 Range Rover from the early 80's and have the most tacky interiors. Yuck

The ZT's really that good, man?? I plan on getting one in a few years for my 'first proper proper car', currently 20 yrs old, love british built cars, and i know quite a few people with some ZT's planning on selling them in a few years.

Would you reccommend one?

@Tait011 Yep, great car for little money. The CDTi has the older BMW 320 diesel engine which are very economical. If you want a little more power try the V6 2.5, but they only average around 19mpg.

Actually... I'm driving a 2000 Caddi SLS with 125,000 miles, and when I was shopping I found most BMW's to have electrical problems at 55,000 miles. The Cadillac gets 30mpg at 75mph on 300 mile trips. Only my heated seats have caused me issues.

@indianavince Go I bought an 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis LS with 167,000 Mile's on it and was $2,500 and have not had any problem's and run's and drive's like new. So buy American. Gotta love Luxo car's the right way like American's made them. Now we make all this hoidy toidy Euro copy crap. Fuck handling i want an smoth ride in my luxo car.

But on the other and 3 of them wear in the sub $2,000 range just for Fun,Work. and look and run great and the other 2 1969 Dodge Charger Was Restored by me has about $57,000 in it and the Ford was $34,000 and thay are all just as good.

It look to rover 75, i have the very last of the British MG ZT 260 V8, and the ZT look far more sporty then the Rover 75, this car look moree rover then MG, the rear spoiler has gone, it looks like it is sitting too hi. It a poor copy of the real Sporting four door ZT

They need to get rid of the chrome, and why does it appear like they have gone against the facelift? The new rear lights look good, but the wheels don't. The Audi-style grille (which rover had first) looks much better, and should have a red edge round it like the Golf GTI. I hope they bring back the V8!

Yes, but that is an MG. MGs shouldn't have chrome - it just isnt right. Think of it as a diesel jaguar, or a jaguar estate. Also, the exhaust should stick out of the back.
