Maseratis today aren't the same as the POS cars they used to be in the 80's. Unreliable, etc. Maserati spend over a decade to allow their reputation to recover from the cars they built in the 80's. Sucks that it had to be crushed. Maybe a museum, or to a collector would be better, but I don't feel too bad. That thing wasn't worth more than what the Cash for clunkers would pay for it anyways.

Put it in a museum, or put a new engine in it, it was worth way more in parts then its scrap value, or even the 3500 for cash for clunkers, besides I thought they said on the radio that the dealership would not take it due to the rareity of the car.

I have only seen one in 14 years at the auburn labor day auction down the road, and it used to by lenth and volume of cars sold be the worlds largest collector car auction under Kruse before he lost his licence the largest in the friken world.
