  • There was one lady who lost the check game by five dollars. The total ended up being 4995

  • Bob is EXTREMELY patient with this contestant.

  • "I'm nervous Bob!"

There's a difference between nervous and stupid.

  • he A voided the check LOL

  • The contestant on this episode has decided not to take the "Void" check home with him. What a shame.

  • I like how Bob puts contestants to the test when he asks if they know how to play the check game and to find out they don't!

  • In 2007, I wonder if I got called to "c'mon on down!" because I made up a t-shirt with a photo of a contestant playing it, and I had printed on the shirt "Hey, Bob...I understand the Check Game!"

  • the model at the end way WAY too slow at stamping the check VOID and pulling it off the pad!

    FIRED!

  • A souvenir from being on the show I suppose.

  • This guy is a FUCKING dumb ass! Makes the show much better to watch tho!

  • havent seen the check game in a while do they still play it

  • he was $96 over he could put 2400 + 3596=5996

    BUT HE AS VOIDED

  • The check is worthless.

  • The prize is not won, And He wins $0,000.00

    (Ie NOTHING!)

  • $0,000.00 that's really funny!

  • He would have won with $4 to spare.

  • No, the prize value of the trip was $3,596, he wrote the check for 2,500, and the total was 6,096. He was over by $96.00. He lost the game. How would he have won this game with $4.00 to spare??? It wouldn't be possible.

  • I meant to say that had he wrote the check for $2,400, he would have won with $4 to spare.

  • VOID

  • That what it says when the contestant loses the check game. The check will be no good and, I dont know what happens to the poor checks.

  • Bob had stated that the production staff would often find voided checks in the studio trash cans, even though he encourages contestants to keep them as souvenirs (whether they win or not, since those checks can't be cashed being that the date is invalid and the checks all have the same serial number.

  • you shoud've put no more then 96 then 00

  • I like this game. It's funny to see the people who can't figure it out, and you get to keep the check!

  • better to be over by $96.00 THEN $2000.00 5000 + 3500 makes= 8500 so he would of been over by 2000 well! i think you get it lol

  • I loved how Bob would swoop in and save dumb contestants....he will be missed

  • If Joe would have written the check between $1,404-$2,404 and price to Acapulco was $3,596, the total would have been $5,000 to $6,000. But he lost by $96 dollars? That's a damn shame!

  • I don't get it. Five or ten years ago, every contestant understood what to do after about five seconds. THIS ISN'T HARD.

  • Everyone cheers... no one can do simple math anymore.

  • lol based on this video, so true

  • Yea I was wondering the same thing too. Did he bring his friends AND his enemies to TPIR so they are glad he lost?

  • I Agree With You QuickMan, Alot Of Fans Say They Been Watching All Their Lives, So When This Game Comes Up Bob Will Test Their Knowledge To See If They Know This Game, And It Was Obvious This Guy Has Never Seen The Game Before, Because He Wrote The Cheque For $5,000!! And Bob Had To Explain It Further, Such A Simple And Easy Game to Understand But Yet, It Seems To Be the Hardest

  • i think they should retire this.

  • No. The check game is to stay.

  • must you really capitalize all the words in your comment? weirdo...

  • this game is probably the easiest of them all... why do so many 'loyal friends and true' screw this up?
