I reckon that has gone around 90 to 100 metres! He has unloaded about 20 metres from the 50 metre arc and it has gone through by at least 20 metres. Both the Rocca bombs could roost it a mile.
Ok, when a player kicks the ball and travels 15 Meters without anyone else touching it or the ball hitting the ground and another player marks (catches) it, the player is entitled to take steps back from where he marked it to then dispose it by either kicking it or hand-balling it
@Poptartza I was going to explain it, but cannavo69 got to it first. But yeah, his catch earned him a free kick. That's why Aussies are so in high demand in the NFL, because they can boom it with accuracy.

@Poptartza Yeh basically if you catch the ball off a kick that was more than 15 metres in length, you can hold the ball for a certain period before the umpire/ref will call play on and then yeh he can be tackled. It's only if you catch it on the full so if you pick up a dribbling ball on the ground then of course anyone can touch you.
Someone needs to make a .gif of that guy at the end doing the double point motion...brilliant! He looks like a total pimp with that mustache and hat- or as we call it here- TAFT!
Not going to lie I have no idea what Austrailian football rules are but it looks really bizarre yet really fun at the same time too. Whats up with the Southern gentleman at the end?
Round 11, 1997, Friday night footy. The week prior we played Hawthorn and get belted at Waverley (they kicked seven goals to 0.1 in the 1st term, I think, Mark Graham ran Sav off his feet), and the week after we played WCE at Vic Park. Started well (Russell with three IIRC), but they mowed us down. Paul Sharkey played, IIRC. Loved 1997, first year I watched the Pies/footy. That's Chad Liddell in the #33 in this vid, too. Keep up the great work mate.
this is why hes in the NFL
