  • I used to hate mac, until I got one. :D

  • I think that the PC character represents Android more in his video. Just my opinion. I don't want people freaking out on my and swearing with improper grammar.

  • For people who *Runs BootCamp*, please you are running Window b*tches

  • mac vs wndow 8 beta winer window 8 because has apps for the first time has software that are great and has a app tore on a pc like apple but you can play apps on the computer

  • Macs never slow down, unlike PC's.

  • MAC : Mercedes Benz/BMW Or Luxurious

PC : Honda Civic/Mitsubishi Lancer Or Customizable To Any Way

  • @cesarsony124 I'd say MAC: Gucchi, D&G, $Bling!$.

It is like expensive chinesee food, only fags would pay for it.

  • This guy played the the brain surgeon who operated on Anders in the "BattleStar Galactica" series. His flippant personality really makes him fun to watch.

  • I really how people hate Macs Just cause they cant run any games, HEY DUMBASSES THERES SOMETHING THAT CAME OUT IN 2006 AND ITS CALLED BOOTCAMP

  • @cesarsony124 and bootcamp lets you run Windows which plays games and still not a Mac.

  • @fortawesomm Thank god its not that limited.

  • @cesarsony124 cant run latest games with shitty bootcamp ;)

  • @baggeghfreak Actually All Of The Latest Macs Can (And Possibly Last Generation's) Most Laptops In The Market Have A Intel Shitty Graphics. All Of The Macs (Besides Macbook Pro 13" And Macbook Air) Have ATi Or Nvidia Graphics And They Can Play GTA 4, Crysis 2 Decently. Even The Macs With The Intel Graphics Can Still Play GTA 4 And Crysis 2 Decently. Soo Please Dont Tell Me Silly Answers Because You Clearly Did Not Do Your Research. If You Think Im Lying, Search Up GTA 4 On iMac or MB Pro.

  • @cesarsony124 For minimum 150% more money.

You get a toshiba with bigger screen and +1y guarantee for -150% of an entry level MBP.

  • @mozdonny Notice How most Macbook Users Dont Use It For Gaming, They Use It Mostly For Portable Editing and For DJ's From What I've Seen. I Respect Your Opinion Though On Hardware. Cheaper Price And better Hardware. The Reason I Like The Macbook Is Because Of its Build Quality (You've Got To Admit Its Pretty Nice) The Laptop Doesnt Have That Plasticy Feel To It Like Some Of The Cheaper Laptop On The Market, It Just Feels High Quality.

  • @cesarsony124 Sure it has the VIP feel of it, but who cares about the feel whilst the passive cooling of such systems is usually handled via a copper heatpipe system and additional fans.

Al sure has the VIP touch and 'build quality', and it is indeed a pretty weightless metal, but in terms of functionality one won't get more out of it, than from cheap plastic.

Also, you can't just reapply the thermal grease on Macs, which is a pretty darn bad design flaw imo (not like laptops are on 24/7 ^^").

  • @cesarsony124 but how about the cost of macs????? plus!!!! you will need a windows vista or 7 pc for $ 100-200

  • @JCDizon16 i am a student and i get every version of windows for free forever. What if you want a new graphics card or a better cpu. You will need to buy a new mac

  • @cesarsony124 But then you're not on Mac OS X anymore, you're running Windows.

  • @LittleBIGRacer If your on a game you're not realy using windows anymore your using the game.

  • Is the OS you're running they game on "Windows" or is the OS you're running the game on "Name Of Game"?

  • I love how they portray the Mac as the humble and friendly computer, but in reality, Apple is a big douche of a company, suing other companies here and there and acting like greedy jerks.

    Think different. Get Ubuntu.

  • @Ollvid Ubuntu (Canonical) is not the only distro, damn !

Get Linux is a better advice.

  • I miss these

  • @AlexanderXtrem Learn to spell.

  • Macs are for creative professionals that make your films, music, photography, brochures and other bespoke products. PCs are for more down to earth businesses. Macs are also for those who struggle with computing or just want something that feels well built and thought out. PCs are for for the average computer user and for gamers. Macs have their place, but they do well at what they do. PCs will always dominate most of the markets though. I love my Macs and PCs the same! Stop the hate people! :)

  • macs are for faggots that cant use a computer

  • Adobe After Affects= Pc +Mac

    Sony Vegas = PC

    Final Cut Pro = Mac

    Crysis = PC

    Battlefield = PC

    Red Faction = PC

Welcome To The Gaming Nation BITCH

  • @legolasisahobbo FUCK GAMES

  • Mac fans are nothing but people who have fallen victims to Apple's "magical" marketing gimmicks.

Just like most things its not the machine but the user as there's no real better OS + each and every OS has a specific audience/niche. For those of you who might not agree with the latter; you'll understand my point in a few year's time ;)

  • At its core build, the difference between a Mac and a Windows based system is nil. Arguing for one or the other is pointless. The only true difference is that the Mac cost you about 2-4 times more than the PC equivalent. What helps make PCs as inexpensive as they are?

    1) Deals with program providers (Yeah all that junk, but you can easily get rid of it.)

    2) You can actually build your own, which is major savings over a store bought PC

  • @HoloSkull Also, the one thing Mac does have going for it is the software. Basically, if you aren't building media constantly, you have no business even looking at a Mac.

  • @HoloSkull Well, i do web design, development, iOS, Android and Java development.. So i guess i qualify? Check out my channel? :)

  • @HoloSkull If you were to perfectly match a Mac and a PC. for example, the 2011 Macbook Pro.

Unibody design, aluminium casing, backlit keyboard, 13" screen, 720p HD webcam, built-in microphone, 2 USB ports, 1 thunderbolt port, 1 ethernet port, Multitouch Trackpad. backlit keyboard light sensor, 512GB HDD, 8 GB DDR3 1100Mhz RAM, 2.7 Ghz intel i7 processor etc so they are identical in everyway they are so similarly priced that it is negligable to use price as a factor if you want the same qualty

  • @TheTutSpace The mobile world is a completely different ballgame, but you still end up with similar results. I did a side-by-side with the 2011 Macbook Pro and a few similarly priced Windows laptops from Newegg. The Newegg laptops were still edging out the Macbook... until I realized I was using the 1.2k pricepoint. The laptop you stated costs 1.5k.

Regardless, arguing mobile platforms is pointless until we can properly power these beasts for extended periods of time.

  • Mac's was always better.

If any one says that PC's have much more programs or much more games, thats because They are cheaper and a lot of people use them.

Why do you think Mac's are expensive?

    Mac's = quality, real quality

I am not saying that people who use PC's are stupid, a lot of them are very smart, no one is stupid.

If u don't think the same reply me telling me why, I am very curious.

  • @AndrewBotish You forgot one point. No matter how much you pay for a mac, you will never get the ultra high end gaming hardware. Also, for gaming, the hardware has a much better price/quality ratio. If you have to run windows to play anyway, might as well save money and not buy mac. The only thing that's superior in macs is the software, but you pay much more for it.

So if gaming is one of the major uses for you computer, a PC is simply the best solution.

  • @AndrewBotish

About the games point you do have a point. Mac OS X is just as good as Windows to program games in but Windows does have a slight advantage such as DirectX, the .Net Framework and games programming is much more mature on Windows.

As for quality, I do agree with you even though hardware wise, Macs are identical to PCs.

The quality does come at a huge price though which might be worth it to some and insanely expensive to others (like myself).

  • @AndrewBotish I agree, i have both, Mac was £1299 and PC was £1099. Only £200 difference, which when you think about it, isn't too much.. That is maybe, upgrading from quadcore to i7 processor or so? So ignoring that factor, I can tell that my Mac is much better quality and smoother at running. Everytime I try to run several programs (high-end like Photoshop, Adobe premier pro and after effects etc on my Mac the render time is significantly less whereas on my PC it takes several hours longer. :)

  • i just love how these commercials stop'ed after windows 7 took off...xD

  • ya rich people use Macs because they feel the need 2 spend 8,000 dollars on a computer for no reason large buissnesses use Windows

  • PCs can run any program (yes after effects and final cut too), PCs can run any game, PCs make up 93% of the OS market, mac make up 3%.

    hello i'm a PC. :D

    stick to phones apple :)

  • @DemoraX Ferraris make up 2% of the car's market. Following your logic I should conclude Ferraris are crap.

  • @ccchackalll or extremely overpriced, which brings us back to mac :)

  • @DemoraX If you think Ferraris are overpriced then I understand why you think Macs are overpriced :-)

  • Pc: hello im a pc,

    Mac: hello im a mac,

Pc: so yeah why do you keep getting plastic surgery every year

    Mac: what do you mean

Pc; i mean you get refreshed every year do you think thats killing your body and you know your not cheap every time you get that surgery.

    Mac: FML

    Pc: im inexpensive

Mac: and im, paying for my surgeries.

    Pc: ouch!!!!

  • @fuo213 No, Disney bough Pixar a while back for about 7.4 billion dollars. Apple no longer owns them.

  • @HaloWarsFreak Well Apple Didn't own Pixar Steve Jobs Did - And He is still the CEO, I think; But When Disney Bought Pixar they bought it from Steve Jobs and Steve is now the LARGEST Share Holder of Disney… So well He owns Apple and Disney.

  • @fuo213 No, Pixar actually uses Linux clusters for that. The reason they do is because Linux is what Mac is based off of, but free and open source.

  • @HaloWarsFreak it's NOT based of linux... it based of UNIX that Mac AND Linux is made on top of.

  • @faxmanloveswaffles Either way, Which one is free and has updates two major times a year.

    Answer = Ubuntu

  • lol, gotta hand it to them for trying. But I've worked in a few studios and most of the guys n garls I've worked for uses...well windows. Reason being is that we'll need to use custom programs for renderings or scripting in games that will just fuck up on a mac.

Still doesn't mean macs suck, it just means their not as good as apple says they are.

  • @AlexanderXtrem contraray to popular belief, pc is not better at gaming than mac, and thats a really old belief, people have realized that mac technologey can be used very effectivly with games, to demonstrate enhanced graphics and preformance.

  • @AlexanderXtrem Computers aren't just about games, that's what Game Consoles are for. Computers are for getting things done, productivity. Which Macs do 1000000000x better than PCs.

  • @AlexanderXtrem I guessed you spelled that with a PC.

  • @AlexanderXtrem Mac: *Runs BootCamp* So can I!

  • @AlexanderXtrem Stereotype.

  • @AlexanderXtrem Get a Job and quit playing PC games under your parents basement, you wanker. Or just get a Mac

  • hollywood uses mac all the time, go out in L.A. and you'll see so many celebrities, directors, musicians, and others uses macs all the time

  • mac = expensive but perfect computers

  • PC : immature

  • Microsoft doesn't work on snazzy apps or useless visual junk.

Microsoft makes stuff that works, they don't spend the majority of their funding on visuals like apple does.

With windows Microsoft relies on 3rd party developers to make applications.

But all of the major mac applications come from apple.

Windows = more variety, works faster and better if you know what you're doing.

Mac = safer(to some degree), not too many choices to make.

  • @JonBj2 So according to your second sentence, Mac makes stuff that doesn't work right? :D

  • @ronteras I never said that, I said that the majority of the funding for the mac goes into visuals, it still works, there just aren't as many things you can use a mac for.

  • @JonBj2 I think you mean there ARE many things you a mac for

  • @philmickstew Sure there are many things you can do on a mac, just not as many as on a Windows PC.

  • "Hello, I'm a Mac, and what PC is trying to say is: Have a nice conference."

  • the only people who acutally know how a mac works are artists and filmmaker all of the other users are just retarded "hipsters" who most of the time are old people saying that window is too hard while in the meantime they dont even understand how the mac "just" works. Fucking idiots should shut the fuck up. If you took a class in computer handling you wouldnt even say either is better because both are the same if you just learn how to use it.

  • @programingKid PC = Personal Computer.

Tell me, then, isn't your mac or iMac a personal computer? So now you're contradicting yourself!

P.S. Nothing runs better than a Linux

  • @programingKid a mac is a PC...

  • @papapapa2010 technically speaking, yes.

  • @papapapa2010 Mac OS X>Microsoft Windows

  • @programingKid not really they are pretty much equal

  • @papapapa2010 yes but on a mac i have not once had any problems or errors. And i can do ios programming on it so i love it :)

  • PC>Mac

  • the game paper toss for iphone/ipod touch has a windows xp computer in the background...

    just so you now

Macbook Pro 13" - running windows 7 in vmware

  • wow. useing the ipod to sell their computers is like selling a netbook to say your desktops can play crysis. it just doesnt... work. i thought macs were for smart people even though theres iditiots designing it. and troyluna is right, hollywood uses stuff like adobe not i movie for videos. since hollywood needs stuff that can actually render stuff

  • haha. Mac is so cool

  • Microsoft: Hey guys look at Windows 7, it doesn't have the problems vista had.

Apple: Hey guys look at OS X, it doesn't have the problems Windows PCs have, also did I mention that PCs suck? Yeah, they do.

  • @UltimaLinkStephen hey look - apple doesn't release new operating systems because there old ones SUCK.

    And Macs look better

  • @zlliddude

Oh yeah, because they just release the same thing every time and make others pay for the same god damn thing and faggots like you will pay 25$ for the same thing without any PPC code.

    See: Snow Leopard.

    >and macs look better

    Nope.

See: HP Envy, Lian-Li Cases, HP Monitors that have the same form factor as the cinema displays and only cost 300$, many Asus laptops, and much, much more.

You can only get a mac in silver. I can get a PC in green, blue, red, yellow, white, black, purpl

  • @theAppleLounge i dont really care about movies from hollywood. All i know is the movie is great then ill watch it.

  • @theAppleLounge It's good for you that you think so, but Hollywood has only 1 "O" in it ;)

  • @theAppleLounge

    Wow, you're an idiot.

Anyone who produces films or digital media of any kind (flash, photoshop etc) uses the Adobe suite, which runs IDENTICALLY on Mac and PC.

I'm not saying Macs are bad for graphic design and film - in fact, coupled with the Adobe tools they're incredible, but it functions IDENTICALLY on Windows, leaving Windows just as good.

Most Hollywood film makers use a specialised brand of computers. When rendering has to be done, idle machines can contribute to it.

  • @theAppleLounge

Maybe, but the guys that are making the real money still use PC. So go fuck yourself.

  • @theAppleLounge not to mention Pixar LIVE on Macs :P

  • @theAppleLounge Wrong. Video editing may be done on macs, but, CGI, animating, sound design, concept art, rigging, texturing, rendering, physics, ect are all NOT done on a mac. Hollywood is far from a mac industry.

  • @theAppleLounge

Gotta say that you're kinda in denial there. Movie studios, special effect companies, digital rendering and animation are never done on Macs in the big movie industry because time is money and you can't build a mac to be as fast as a Windows or Linux based system. Big industry uses special computers with software that can really leverage it. Avatar would have taken 10 years to make on a Mac with how slow they are.

  • @theAppleLounge I'm agreeing, but it's sad you spell "Hollywood" "Hoolywood."

  • @theAppleLounge Sorry to disappoint you, haha. But no.

  • @theAppleLounge

hmm i think you're the one who must read better cause movies like avatar are made on windows

  • @theAppleLounge You should spell better lmao

  • @troyluna555 have u ever seen a movie from holywood where they use pc?

  • @troyluna555

For the design and video editing mac is still used a lot, but slowly hollywood is switching, for example for big 3d animation movies most computers used are linux (but that's obvious, why use a mac for rendering) and windows is being used for design more and more.

but why am I posting this on a video by apple? it will get deleted anyway.

  • @troyluna555 Macs = Perfect for editors.

Other OS: Probably perfect for being near virus-free and for those not wanting to waste time having an anti-virus programme installed.

    PCs: Perfect for everyone else.

  • @troyluna555 Ever heard of Final Cut Pro? Jeez, It's like the standard in movie editing!

  • @StainOnTheWall do u even know how old my comment is.

  • Fuck you apple.

  • If Mac could run Sony Vegas, I'd be completely okay with Macs.. I don't do much gaming anymore and only do artistic creations most of the time. :D

I love Windows and Macs though.. I would happily use any of them, but would just prefer to use Mac whenever possible.

    WinMAC?

  • @LeGiiTWillie Have you heard of Boot Camp, VMWare Fusion, Parallels, or Virtual Box?

  • @MBP6705 OH YEAH! Dude, you're awesome. I forgot all about that. Lol Thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • @LeGiiTWillie Yep. I think Fusion is the best virtual machine. It's pretty fast and has the best interface, but Boot Camp runs Windows (XP - 7) natively. Fusion I think is $50 and Boot Camp comes with your Mac. It's in your utilities folder.

  • disgusting ad

  • The iPhone is brill ! That's how I'm writing this review, oh I love spell check.. ;)

  • @TheLegomaniac25 No grammar check? Lol fail.

  • iphone is not even good u must be an idiot to think it is

  • @ndelima14

iphone is not even good u must be an idiot to think it is

or maybe he has his own opinion

because i can tell you that he's not an idiot

    douche

  • I could use some snazzy apps!

What about the many thousands of apps Windows can run that Mac OSX can't?

  • @therealmetroidmaniac bootcamp/vmware.

at least mac offers to include windows in its secure shell

  • @therealmetroidmaniac the mean the ton of useless shit that's basically all the same. Windows has tons of pointless programs, OSX has few (but enough) GREAT apps.

  • @therealmetroidmaniac most of them are utter trash

  • 3 Billion now....

  • Why

  • why?

  • why you think so?

  • Why do u think so?

  • @randomvidz94 Why do you think so?

  • why do apple have to say things bad about microsoft? They don't say things bad about apple

  • Because they are failing against microsoft, so they have no choice

  • lol agreed

  • they dont say bad things about microsoft they say bad things about pcs in general. and its not like pcs can really make fun of macs because theres many of them. its not just one company. so its not like hp is gonna launch a campaign dissing macs cause even if they did it would be pointless since there are still thousands of other pcs out there

  • Well, Microsoft don't say bad things about Apple, of course they didn't. If Apple close, no more Windows!

  • do you know that xbox was based in G4 or G5 system?

  • lol no it's not.

  • infact, the most purchaser of apple computer is microsoft.

  • also not true.

    btw learn to spell.

  • lol, what!

  • .... I told you what you said was bullshit.

And i told you to learn to spell.

What is there to not get?

  • lol, get some more source to prove your saying bro. Goodluck

  • rofl, you wan't me to find sources to disprove your crazy ass claims? What the hell have you been smoking?

  • The 360 CPU is likely the one your referring to and it isn't a G4 or G% the Instruction set is based on IBM's Power PC architecture, however the chip is a tri-core unit that is a slightly modified version of the PPE's in the Cell Processor. The fact that both the xbox, PS3, and PPC processors all use the PPC instruction set does not mean that one is based on any of the others, only that they accept the same commands.

  • is that why it sucks?

  • Well actually I have seen a lot of anti-apple microsoft ads

  • @gtgidemgreen

    please share them.

  • This commercial made me NOT bying a mac...

  • ...it made you forget how to write in English too...

  • @AndyTheSinger lol nice one

  • If Mac is really so good, why do they even bother making these ads to attack/belittle Microsoft? It seems Mac is the one who's scared of Microsoft, not the other way around...

  • You obviously haven't watched all the stuff Microsoft has done to try to compete with Apple. Or the way Steve Ballmer tries to put down various Apple products.

  • People who work at Microsoft: being picked on by Apple commercials

People who work at Apple: name-calling bastards

  • Apple, just leave Microsoft alone. First, you diss the Intel processor (the Pentium II vs. the PowerPC), and now you've gone so low as to diss Windows, an OS I consider to be more inovative than your Mac OS X crap. Screw you Apple!

  • screw you name ONE thing micro$hit has done original?

  • internet, you know, the thing your on

  • macs have intel processors

and when i had a PC i had no idea how to find files or do anything

with my iMac all i have to do is click a button and there it is

    lol

and PCs don't have garageband or iPhoto or anything like that free with the computer

  • Well, yeah, but you can get free software similar to Garageband and iPhoto online.. I think it's stupid to argue what computer & operating system is better than the other. Me myself, I'm glad I have a lot to choose from, for different needs; Mac for my music production, PC (with windows and linux installed) for my gaming addiction (lol) and programming. Both machines for multimedia/entertainment :)

  • Well feature-to-feature, the MacOS might be a better operating system; but in real life windows does rule!

...simply because of the sheer NUMBER of PC users. Which is why Mac users need Bootcamp and other VM software to do everyday tasks PCs take for granted.

  • Other than games, not really many.I'll keep my Mercedes.Enjoy your Yugo.

  • yeah but in that case, too bad your expensive Mercedes can't even play CDs....while my Yugo comes with a 7.1surround for free.

Talk about waste of money :)

  • It probably has a built in MP3 player. Keep your CDs. They are so 90s.

  • Which every day tasks? You mean all the stuff you have to buy additional software for on a PC which the Mac comes with?

  • You are paying for it with the cost of the Mac software... They cost more so they toss in more software.

My PC on the other hand cost way less, so I can choose to buy what ever software I want with the money I save buying a PC... You on the other hand have to take what Apple gives you, and yes it's added into the cost... duu

or I can choose to save my money and download Linux with all it's free app's. The only thing Mac has is Final Cut Pro with out it Mac would die...

  • Actually, I don't own a Mac right now.

And sure, you can choose to buy whatever you want. Assuming you know what to get, where to go to get it, etc. Which most of the people of the world know little about.

I look at these kind of things on how it applies to the majority of computer users, not just the select few, much like these ads. They target the people going to buy PCs from OEMs. The real movers and shakers.

  • Microsoft, as I type this from my iPhone 3G S, get freaking owned.

  • thats nice... as i type this looking at a 22'' screen and my home built pc, viewing in HQ .... i spit on your iphone

  • Take it with you wherever you go, eh?

  • @utubeb14 That's nice, because as i view this video with my 24" home built pc, I finally see the light and I'm getting a 15" Macbook pro tomorrow

  • "Clap"

"I Don't Know What To Do Anymore"

    "Phhhhht"

"Hello I'm A Mac And What Pc's Trying To Say Is Have A Great Confrence" LOL!

  • "I could use some snazzy apps!"

    "What are your ideas?"

    lol

  • That last comment was a joke.
