dirt 2 is a very good racing game, its better than nfs shift in my opinion, but i like the old parts "colin Mcrae Rally 02,04 and 2005" better, because there is snow, rain and you drive VS the time, dirt 2 is a arcade game, i like the old parts better, but dirt 2 still a very good game i have this game too and the end is very very sad, there is a sad song and videos from the Legend "colin mcrae" very good job codemasters :)

Hi, I just downloaded the demo and gameplay is sweet with most settings high...however the start up and in the trailer is really slow, like 5 fps??? Any ideas?? I just tried demo with my AMD Phenom II 550 (overclocked to 3,3 GHz), 4 GB RAM, ATI Radeon 4850 and Windows 7 profesional 64 bit. It runs great on High details. So I think you will have no problem running full game on High details on your machine. Just be sure to upgrade Catalyst drivers to the latest.

Everything is updated to the maximum, I have optimum settings. I manually installed the games for windows live (which is shitty) as recommended and it still doesn't launch. Others are reporting the same issues on the Codemastes forums and steam, but they're doing nothing about it. I already uninstalled it anyway.

i just got it :) it's an amazing game ! Reminds me of the Grid Demo, just in rally edition. But still it's a lot of fun. The only thing i miss is the ability to change the settings for the car the way you could in colin mcrae dirt 1. The settings changes for the car in this game is too limited, and you can only change a very few thing. But apart from that it's amazing.

Killzone 2 is the only game you mentioned above mediocre status. Metal Gear Solid 4 was an epic failure after the first 2 acts. I never played uncharted 2 but the first one did not impress me at all. So if they are anything like one another.... its only ok.... nothing worth buying a PS3 over.

Not true at all. PS3 is entirely different to the other two gaming systems (PC and 360) in that most of the rendering and power comes from the Cell processor, and not the gpu (which is a lowly 7800GT in the PS3), whereas the Xbox has the advantage of being much closer to the PC (and previous consoles) of having most of the work done by the gpu, this makes it cheaper and easier to develop games for, as developers have engines set up and designed around PC-like setups, not the mutant PS3 setup

The games are still made with the relatively same graphics/physics engines. The code obviously differs slightly between the two but overall it's the same game. PS3 is just blu-ray capable, it's that simple. In no other way is it better. If games had to undergo some totally different mode of creation just to be ran on a George Foreman grill, than they would obviously cost more. Nuff said; Xbox 360 FTW.

The only good thing I can say about PS3 is that it plays Bluray. Otherwise, they made the system WAY too complicated for developers to make games for.
