Nice! this would make a bitchin' portfolio piece. To fix the lighting you could always bring the file into a seporate rendering software. and man, I'd pull my hair out if I had to 3D model something like this in AutoCad.

Buy software called keyshot, export this file, render it with keyshot (5 mins work) e voila you got a MUCH better looking render............;

if u wanna work on animation2d-3d / modeling I recommend you maya 2009 with 3ds max 2009 also photoshopcs4

nice job on ur mountain bike would be great in a video game mid resolution but ur bike wont fit in a real scene 3d like a movie there is not enough edges and needs more smooth at some place and missing a lot of little pieces of a real bike

@iRoxproductions that's right!! he TRIED hard... but has no natural talent. this model is sooo flawed anyone with real skills can see that. man anyone can build a model in acad but you need skills for detail and this lacks it in spades. yeah i cant do shit on ACAD oh thats why am i gettin paid to do this full time. what r u doin with your life besides defending hacks?? let me guess studying how to use AutoCAD.

Wow!! I'm suprised that autoCAD is able to make so many details. But is it always this slow when the camera pns around the object?

Model in format DWG version 2008 has about 45MB. It´s too big to create video. So it is only 10 frames per second. Creating video (only 40 seconds in medium quality) took about 4 hours. Computer had to render every frame of video so it was very demanding.

I thought, that it would be very hard to model it, but it wasn´t, it was only time occupiing. It takes about 200 hours, but it made me happy:)
