Loved this phone, the amount of times I dropped it on hard surfaces and it was fine!!! Although even before it suffered battering it freezed and turned off alot. However I love Nokias so i've chosen for my new phone to get the Nokia 800 rather than the iphone 4s!!!!

nokia 5530 is good then 5800.. no difference in both of them except carl zeiss and optics in camera.. save your money and buy 5530..

I own this phone for 6 months. Yeah screen has impressive quality, touch is working good, no problems with that. Bu symbian is just piece of a shit !!! It slows down after you transfer songs videos or images to your phone. Yeah this is much more better than 5800. Design is very cool no doubt. I listen to songs nearly 6 hours a day and have to recharge my battery nearly EVERY DAY!!! battery capacity is bad. And also you have many problems with bluetooth. It bugs A LOT!!!. better buy iphone.

Guys I bought Nokia 5530 about a week ago. The phone captures image perfectly but when I switch to video mode the recorder lags e.g first it record a video of 5 seconds then the time shown on screen lags & goes to 15 seconds again 5 seconds of recording & again lags to 25 seconds. When I save the video it saves perfectly. Then I play the video 5 seconds of video play perfectly then it jam, only sound come then it started from 15 seconds & so on. I really need help. Why it lags

@alexijunior13 I used to own this phone. I think this is the BEST cheaper-end phone from Nokia. The build quality is absolutely great, and as said on this review, the touchscreen is very responsive and the phone ui is very quick, even though it is a symbian.

I like the phone, though now I own an iPhone. The only things missing, are GPS and 3G along with video calls.. :)

Otherwise it is a great handset :)

I have had my 5530 XM for the best part of a year (or a year and a half, I forget) and other than some bugs that seem pretty rare for most people and some slowness at bootup, i'm glad to have this. Its snappy untill you install too many apps/games ect. (I have a few hundred, used up nearly all phone memory, half of free 4GB microSD) so really, please tell me what you mean by I do not reccomend touch screen phone !!!".
