Keep some aloe Vera gel in the fridge. It's right good on bad sun burn, very cooling and puts back moisture into the skin. If you get blisters use paraffin dressings that are used on burns. The nerve endings react with the air causing pain so covering with paraffin dressings helps with any pain from really severe sun burn
