Hi bernd, tolle videos hast du die letzten monate gepostet, auch wenn es ein trauriger anlass ist, dieses ist das beste, den song kannte ich zwar nicht, aber ich meine besser kann man das technisch, vom feeling und vom sound her nicht hinkriegen, habe mir auch andere versionen anghört, sind lichtjahre von deiner version entfernt, wenn ich einen hut auf hätte, würde ich ihn jetzt abnehmen, beste grüße friedel

Ist aber eines meiner Liebligskompositionen von Laurence Juber und sicherlich auch eines der Bekanntesten. Ich habe Ulli dieses Stück auf YT spielen sehen, er ergänzt noch ein eigenes Vorspiel. Übrigens sah ich mal Laurence live zusammen mit Ulli in Bielefeld, toll!

Knut baute diese Gitarre 1996/97 für mich. Decke Alpenfichte, Boden, Zargen und Hals Riopalisander. Freewheel Mechaniken, eine Eigenentwicklung von Knut, top präzise. Kurze Mensur (63 cm) und 45 mm Halsbreite am Sattel. Ein tolles Instrument, bedsonders für offene Stimmungen.

Hallo Bernd, was für ein tolles tribut für Knut. Ich denke, jeder, der Knut kennen und schätzen gelernt hat, wird traurig sein über seinen plötzlichen Tod. Er hat einfach tolle Instrumente gebaut, die ihm sicher noch lange sein handwerkliches Können bestätigen werden. Leider ist ihm sein ganz großer Durchbruch versagt gewesen, vielleicht war er auch zu bescheiden, aber sicher war er ein ganz großartiger Handwerker und Mensch.

hast du Knut gekannt? Er war ein ruhiger, bescheidener, sehr sympatischer Mensch ... so habe ich ihn vor 15 Jahren kennen gelernt. In seiner Werkstatt, mit seinem Hund, atmete alles seine hohe Handwerkskunst. Du hast Recht, der große Durchbruch ist ihm nicht gelungen, aber die, die ein Instrument von ihm besitzen dürfen, werden es wohl kaum wieder hergeben.

Yes, I enjoyed that weekend very much too! Meanwhile I listen and watch your videos and CDs ... and of course learn one or another piece of your music.

Knut had passed far too early, at age of 49. I was really shocked when I heard the bad news on sunday, so I decided to upload this LJ tune again, played on my favourite open tuning guitar. Knut built this guitar for me in 1997 just in time for the birth of my first son.
