appears the price has dropped substantially since release. i bought 1 today @ compusa for $159.00 plus tax. i rarely ever buy in store, but i've become increasingly intolerant of getting lost, wasting fuel & time & printing maps.

if u can stomach UPS ground and can get it for less than $159.00, google it and go for it.

i used it immediately. performs as advertised. the screen is nice & responsive. so far, the only negative is the price. IMO, it should sell for $100.00 or less.

Charge it for the recommended charge time. That, I believe, is your only problem. Mine was the same- it only needed to be charged-it was not ready to go out of the box.
