I saw this movie, the trailer does not do it justice. It was a side story, taking place during the series. But the movie was phenomenal. Great music, supreme animation (you'll get used to the animation), and such a great plot. It was extremely epic with many climaxes and great fight scenes and emotional scenes. Perhaps the best anime movie i have seen.

Why wont they make a continuation of conquerer of shamballa? That makes me mad. Brotherhood is just taking the original story and screwing it like the movie of the last airbender did to the series. :( I expected so much more than a series about being in between the series.

I can see why people would complain about animation. At first glance you might look at Conqueror Of Shambala, and then look at this, and detail-wise it might seem like a step down. But it can be hard trying to add detail and make smooth animation; not to mention time consuming. If you compare The Conqueror Of Shambala trailer to The Sacred Star trailer, you might notice how the animation in The Sacred Star is smoother (in Conqueror Of Shambala, the animation is kinda jerky at times).

@Schuhbert123 nope, no chance at all... brotherhood follows the story of the manga and the manga ends with the defeat of "Father" just like the anime did.. unless new manga chapters are written( which is highly doubtful), the only FMA we will be watching is the movie... now there is a chance that the movie will introduce some new enemy that's not completely defeated at the end of the movie, that could be source for another series, but again i doubt it

I wonder what its gonna be about overall. x: I noticed Ed doing alchemy since his automail arm was a knife. However in end of FMA he lost his alchemy. Also, he doesn't seem to be grown up like end of brotherhood. Though it maybe that Ed and Al found a way to be able to use alchemy again. Well for Ed too. Who knows so many questions. Have to wait.
