When I think of the dilemma we face as a nation I find myself in awe at the way African Americans use music as the great load leveler. It is in word and rhythm. It provides that link to a past that may be unknown or unseen...but is forever present and hopeful. That is gospel music and the beauty of four part harmony. Different voices one message one song....all getting there together. Gods collaborators. We need to teach all children to sing so they can keep this music alive.
