I saw Frankie live in Atlantic City in 1986 and he sounds just as good if not better now. I would like to see todays "singers" sound anywhere near as good as he does at 70+ years old. It will never happen. Let's see if Justin Timberlake or Mariah Carey hit the notes 40 years from now. God Bless Frankie Valli!!!
@partyspecialists there makeing it like the jersey boys musical where the actors playing them all look alike instead of one guys tall one guys short one guys chunky maybee they well rectife that when they make a movie out of it
I'm afraid the once-great Valli now needs a slew of backup singers and hotshot players and still can't re-create the vintage Seasons sound. The sound on this performance is too Vegas-ed out! But it's still nice to hear these great old songs once more!
Phew - there we go. Wow, This is WONderful. After seeing/hearing that horrible one from the 80's (Dawn) I couldn't sleep last nite, it kept haunting me. I took a chance on pulling this one up this morning. Thank God for small wonderful blessings. Frankie sounds amazing. It made my cry.
For his age, he's still great. I wasn't really a Frankie Valli fan when i was younger, but as i got older i appreciate his talent and music more. A true STAR!
Connie francis brother was a prosecutor that was murdered by la cosa nostra I think they had the idea for 3 background singers in this concert from the fendertones doing beach boy songs.
just great. i like the falsetto bit at the end of "Rain" - the little range he has lost, he makes up for by singing around the melody a bit, like Save it for Me, and personalizing the song more. A truly legendary performer
I can't express enough how much I love his voice. truly remarkable and perfect. I can't believe I am alive during his music reign. Haha :) awesome

I would have liked the show better without the backup singers/dancers, in my opinion they took away from the performance of Frankie.
