If she had been black the media would have covered this story a lot more. and people like al sharpton would have been on the first plane to Italy to declare to the world she was innocent.
this isnt about whether she was black or white. its about whether she did it or not. And one detail i find disturbing is that it was reported she did cartwheels after being arrested. I mean really? her friend died and she did cartwheels? strange to say the least.
Media wouldn't be Media if it wasn't bias. And the only reason why people are so opinionated about Amanda's case is because it's so public. And the evidence against her is so weak. I know people get convicted with the same amount of evidence all the time but those peoples cases aren't public. If they were I'm sure people would be opinionated about those cases too. When I was first studying her I honestly thought she was guilty(I was being biased), but after doing some actual research I have found her innocent. And not all US media is making her look like a Saint. Media in European countries are portraying her as a devil girl. This bias is much attributed to the animosity towards Americans in Europe. He also confessed and gave details that corraborate perfectly with the crime scene. He had a history of violence, I could go on and on.
Sure, but the fact that there's another murder that he clearly committed certainly raises suspicion in his direction. Amanda doesn't have any evidence of such behavior in her past.
Fellow americans should realize that the victim was NOT italian but BRITISH, and the other two convicted guilty people in this trial, Amanda's boyfriend Raffaele and Rudy, are BOTH ITALIANS, and Raffaele comes from a wealthy family. So if the italians judges in this trial had been "unfair" or corrupted, they would have helped their fellow citizens rather than convicted them...

AK's footprints were found set in Merediths blood in two places in the hallway of the new wing of the cottage. One print was exiting her own room, and one print was outside Merediths room, facing into the room. These bloody footprints were only revealed under luminol.
AK's DNA was mixed with Meredith's blood on the ledge of the basin., the bidet.,a box of Q Tip cotton swabs,in the hallway. And on MK's bra.

I think its true people wouldn't care as much if she was black. But Im sure by statistics, there's a greater percentage of black people committing crimes so excuse us. The most important issue here is that she didn't get a fair trial. The trial is exposing the fact that many are wrongly accused and convicted in many countries including the USA. It might seem unfair that Amanda Knox get special attention, but the reason is because it seems so clearly hopeless and it seems so blatantly clear that she is innocent. I think her case will bring light to this cause for many people! Can't let Amanda Knox stay in prison and we need support for all wrongly accused.

Respectfully, you have not described the context of that occurrance. The way we have heard it is that police were trying to elicit from her any impressions she might have had, even to the point of imaginary or faint ideas. She was an honor student, not stupid. It would be quite a deluded person who would think they could "name out" an innocent person and the Italian police would just automatically convict that person.

I do not agree with this video. I saw no network saying she is innocent. I saw them pointing out procedural problems that are extremely prejudicial... problems that apparently _you don't mind if the defendant is white... therefore I do not trust your idea of justice.

I did not see her attributed as having made an accusation or offering specific evidence. Didn't they say she was being asked to help find Meredith's killer? She could have just refused to help them. Do you know how they explained the process to her? I thought they asked her to offer any impressions, however unsupported.
