I am a Secular Humanist. Thats not a Religion but, it is however my full intention of making the world a better place to live in. Religion in my opinion makes too many excuses for people. It seperates people and gives them a comfortable place to remain complacent. I feel sorry for man kind and I love them. I hate Religion.

To the writer the stars are lights that hang in the sky --a canopy suspended over the earth-- and the moon radiates light rather than reflects sunlight. The writer doesn't even know that the star nearest the earth is our sun. Stars cannot fall to the earth. A devil and hell are monotheism's way of dealing with the question of why evil exists.

@TheThreadoftruth : 2. The Greek "autos" is a possessive translated "her." It's speaking of the Moon's light, not reflection of sunlight. The stars falling, means falling to the earth. Flat earthers thought the stars were little lights hanging from a canopy. It's right there in the book. The only thing awesome is the lengths to which some will stretch scripture to make it fit there fantasy.

The reference to stars in the Bible are not talking about stars nut of Angels. he ones you mention are the fallen angels, satan and his hordes. Mt. 29 is also an allusion to Isa. 13:9,10; 34:4, Ezek. 32:7, and Joel 2:31; 3:15. In Isa. 13:10 the Hebrew word "keseel" means Orion (a star constellation) and is the general word for constellation (stars) and was translated such. Therefore, you and those of your mindset, have all your work cut out for you.

The doctrine of the rapture is a false doctrine. Ask yourself why would Jesus come and take a dead body to where birds of prey are gathered together? Mat 24:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. Then read Ezek. 39:17-19 and also read Rev. 19:17-18 for the true answer.

@andyr001984: It does not refer to a flat earth. The writer's description of what will happen is from a flat-earth mindset. To the writer the stars are lights that hang in the sky --a canopy suspended over the earth-- and the moon radiates light rather than reflects sunlight. The writer doesn't even know that the star nearest the earth is our sun. Stars cannot fall to the earth. A devil and hell are monotheism's way of dealing with the question of why evil exists.

You only know the 3 demension that God allows you to know. throughout the Bible you could show it "refering" to it as both flat & a circle. The Bible even mentions how the universe is being strectched out & we only just found out that the universe is pulling away from itself growing larger. Also that verse never syas the stars fall to Earth they just fall like "Falling stars" & burn up. 2nd that verse also says 1st that the Sun will be darkend & give no light then it says that the moon will not give its light meaning if the Sun doesnt shine neither can the moon. Thats something they couldnt have known then so it makes it even more awesome

@TheThreadoftruth : 2. The Greek "autos" is a possessive translated "her." It's speaking of the Moon's light, not reflection of sunlight. The stars falling, means falling to the earth. Flat earthers thought the stars were little lights hanging from a canopy. It's right there in the book. The only thing awesome is the lengths to which some will stretch scripture to make it fit there fantasy.

The reference to stars in the Bible are not talking about stars nut of Angels. he ones you mention are the fallen angels, satan and his hordes. They didn't physically fall either, theey fell spiritually. God then banished them to the earth. Mt. 29 is also an allusion to Isa. 13:9,10; 34:4, Ezek. 32:7, and Joel 2:31; 3:15. In Isa. 13:10 the Hebrew word "keseel" means Orion (a star constellation) and is the general word for constellation (stars) and was translated such. Therefore, you and those of your mindset, have all your work cut out for you.

Mat 24:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. Then read Ezek. 39:17-19 and also read Rev. 19:17-18 for the true answer.

This part of Rev. 12 is an overview when there was the rebellion in Heaven when 1/3 of the Angels went with satan. Sorry, satan can touch any of God's Stars without His permission. God's Angels will be the ones actually administering, upon the instructions if Jesus Christ, all Judgments, including the Wrath of God. The Bowl (Vile) Judgments. God KNOWS everthing about Stars. Rome, Nero, etc. Nero was dead, but was widely feared to be coming back from the dead ("...the..beast, whose fatal wound had been healed..." Rev 13) to continue his persecution (folks believed that people returned from the dead back then). Read something besides self-serving superstitious propaganda; read something by actual objective scholars. It doesn't hurt to think. You'll be OK, really.

Elijah paves the way for the Messiah's Coming. John the Baptist did the first time, then Malachi 4:5-6 will be fulfilled. John Nelson Darby articulated it in around 1832 (go look it up somewhere, it's easy to find). To do so, he had to take a little from 1horribly Thess, a little from Matthew, a little from Revelation, a little from very selective parts of the Torah. Sprinkle on a little fear & a self-serving, sick desire to see "them" suffer and bang!...you got yourself a "Rapture" theology. Silly.

@JesusHoldMyHand1 If hell exists, this loving god of yours, is the worst tyrant we can imagine. Earthly tyrants kill their opponents and that is the end. But this LOVING heavenly fatherTORTURES FOR ALL ETERNITY,not only his opponents, but even those you happen to not-believe in him. How loving can you get ??

@ndzoko Hell exists for people like you who HATE My Loving God, as you so profess. Why are you so concerned? Since you hate Him, why would or should you be extended the privilege of living WITH Him for Eternity? You'll be with your father, the devil. Sounds right to me. It's your choice and it sounds like you made it. That way there's a separation between those who love the Lord and those who don't. We have no such separation now, do we? But, we will, then......
