Just got a supersix 4rival ....love this bike can't get any smoother than this.... Fuck all you Cannondale haters... Come see me and my new sixth sense (supersix)
All the reviewers on youtube are telling me exactly same things. Carbon, light, still, strong, lighter than ever and best in market. Blah blah blah....... I am sure that Armstrong can beat my neighbour on his a colnago by riding a fixie. So true
I went to a training camp, one of the guys I met had a super six, sadly we were pounding it up a mountain, he hit a small pebble and the crankset snapped in half, cannondale(cracknfail)
all this technology but how many stage wins does Liquigas have in the TDF? and the TDF riders in the 80s were going at the same speeds the riders are going today in the TDF. Technology? stiffness? efficiency? power output? bullshit.
@chenshiwei im with you, no matter how light and aerodynamic your bike is if you dont have the legs and the lungs to push you forward all the technology in the world is useless!
weather Lance is riding a Trek or Cervelo or a Colnago he will still win! after all he is the engine...
lightness, stiffness, aerodynamics all comes to its price.. but training hard is much cheaper...
put areo bars on it disk wheel and tt front wheel and it is as light as a tt bike basicly a tt bike guy i work with bought one with a power meter you can use any back wheel you want with the power meter you can buy for it...
@huntingfreak901 typically even the lightest TT bikes are heavier than a road bike frame, so you would have a light bike if you did use a road frame, but the aerodynamics would be sacrificed. I would like to see a very light TT bike, but for now, they are still fairly heavy
@huntingfreak901 well, in pro road racing, the UCI (cycling's governing body) made a rule that road bikes, complete bikes, not just frames, have to be over 6.8 Kgs, roughly 14 pounds. I'm not sure what rules they have for mtb, but those bikes tend to be a bit heavier than road bikes
@livesforcycling45454 i am pretty sure there is no weight limit for mtb i was just asking about road bike, not all mtb are bit heavier your forgeting the 16.6 pound cannondale lefty
@huntingfreak901 I know that there are quite a lot of mtb that can rival road bikes. The Lefty is a great example to that. but there are a lot of road bikes that are 15, and some that are pretty close to the UCI bike limit, its incredible to what bike companies can do. But I'm sure mtb with be so much lighter in the coming years, but they need to be strong due to the terrain that they have to be used on, so they need more material
@livesforcycling45454 i dont see why they should make mtb lighter i will always ride a mtb above 20 lbs since its easier to keep rear wheel on the ground. and i agree that bikes will become much more lighter. thanks for your help (thumbs up)
@huntingfreak901 yeah, i think C-dale was risking it by making a 16 pound mtb, but if it iworks, then it works. Idk, I'm a road cyclist, so thats not my specialty, haha. and youre very welcome
make it more affordable to everybody instead of being rediculously overpriced for such a small amount of material. the cycling industry really need cutting in price. we could cut pollution by making it more affordable. lets be real this thing cost about 10 dollars to manafacture
I am also disappointed in Cannondale's choice in going overseas. Ask yourself, who is to blame? Every American who doesn't want to pay premium wages to an American bike builder is to blame. Cannondale will still design, research and innovate the bicycle here in America then send the blueprints overseas to be built. Cannondale is still one of the best innovators in the cycling business.Plus, the Lefty fork is still the KING of awesome.Does that also mean that Shimano and Sram parts are junk?
Its quite silly to dog on china, all computers, cell phones, clothes, and almost everything you use and depend on is made there.
