  • The fact that hsi name's Jordan 'Cross' is kinda coincidental since he's played by Joseph 'Cross.'

  • That must be showing Superman Prime when he came back from his journey around the Universe and he went back to his Fortress of Solitude in the center of the Super Sun. It said that the only way he could meet his end would be at the end of reality.

  • Guys so long as he's under a yellow sun he's immortal I mean this scene proves it, it's like dc one million where he becomes superman prime. After all his loved ones have died(Lois) he decides to leave earth and give his responsibility to superman secundus(his son maybe idk) after that he leaves earth on a journey traveling through the universe gaining new abilities only to come back a few million yrs later as perhaps the most powerful entity in DCU and he's able to bring back Lois as a super b

  • @Mexiamerican2012 that was the superman's storyline in DC 1,000,000 ? u got me pumped i wanna read

  • @Mexiamerican2012 not to say that this has anything to do with the vid, but in the Doomsday dvd his robot told him that on earth death was impossible for him and that his pulse slowed down so his body would giveitself a better chance to heal.

  • This is one of the first of many iconic smallville scenes. Why is it so hard to find?!

  • @JGT021 I know, I was looking for this for weeks.

  • That scene never gets old!

  • Wha, thats some trippy crap there!

  • one of my favorite moments in season 3 :)

  • do anyone know the name of the song, that is played in the beggining of this episode?

  • @Grimmer47 five for fighting 100 years

  • hmm I have a theory about what the kid/ Dr Fate saw, I think what they can see is not so much people's deaths but how they will leave Earth for the final time I think, I think in the vision Clark flying off and leaving Earth for the final time for new Krypton I think? cause the people of the bottled city of Kandor got their own planet later on and Clark joined his people after he felt his work was done on Earth maybe? What do you guys think?????

  • @OperationSpider that would really make since for superman returns. since he found out their were reamainings of his planet somewhere in space. it makes good sense a bit.

  • @OperationSpider I think Clark is long lived but not immortal. He can die of old age like a human by living on a planet with a red sun to the end off his days if he wants too.

  • There's an animated film called "The Death of Superman" in which he fights Doomsday and does indeed die and Lex Luthor releases a clone of Superman, then the real Superman reappears wearing a black suit that absorbs uv rays or something and he is able to save the day as usual lol

  • ive seen this as well but im refereing to the comic book series of his death covering the fight between him and doomsday, his funeral, and then his return. thanx for the back up

  • @rmchardie technically in the movie his robot friend( fake alpha 5 lol) found him and brought him back to the fortress telling him that his pulse slowed down so it would be better for him to heal. and he had to wait for another pulse to find where superman's location was.

although i thought that muthafuker did die. lol had my ass scared then a mother fucker.

  • Dr Fate much?

  • What episode is this?

  • Is that a whale sound at the end of Jordan's vision?

  • i ALMSOT LOST MY MIND WHEN I FIRST SAW THIS! I was so excited, i couldnt believe this. I seriously thought this was the coolest thing they had done to date.

  • I totally Agree with you,

I wanted to go on longer. it was just Awesome, the execution and build up to this scene was brilliant

  • @frankenleg i know right. as soon as i saw that cape i said damn look at my mans go. at least he found the courage to fly finally. i don't blame clark i would be scared to. this is just one of these great superhero moments u have to cherish.

  • increible!!!!!!! muy buen momento de la excelente serie

  • When i first saw this part, the first thing that came my mind was that Clark would get killed when Earth explodes many years from now (maybe in a time when there's no humans left) parhaps due to a giant meteor or something... like Clark's life is linked with Earth's.

L8r, i thought that those tunnel sequences could be enormous amounts of time passing by JOrdan's head, while he was seeking Clark's end, and his future-reading power span wasn't enough to reach Clark's demise.

    Cheers all !! o/

  • Clark never dies. He actually lived millions years after Earth dies. I even have a scan of that I can show you. Death even said that Clark will live on forever. In the comics, Superman lives on forever, infinity years. Even here in Smallville they show this.

  • @checkthataccount no not really he was actually just flying out of earths' atmosphere. im sure we would've heard an explosion in the background of earths demise i guess but that would be leaking to much info.

  • freaking awesome, i remember seeing that 7 years ago...

  • does anyone know if jordan shows up in another episode? i think he does, but im not sure

  • best smallville scene ever!

  • in one of the comics (1,000,000) it says 'after he outlived his time.. his friends. He departed earth to seek the far rim of time and space..' returned with his eyes white. 'looked as if he had crashed the gates of heaven and still not found that for which he searched'

  • thats awesome

  • could you let me know what issue? or what graphic novel taht came from?

  • Superman: man of tomorrow #1,000,000 . It was part of the 'one million' crossover, where all issues jumped ahead. but its an ok issue

  • Superman Prime is fun stuff. Nothing like living in the sun for 15,000 years.

  • hey i have a question. How long would superman suposedly live if he was never killed by anything, like the aproximate life span of a kryptonian powered by the yellow sun. I know this means that his legacy lives on forever *pretty sure* not him personally, but how many earth years could he live?

  • There's an Elseworlds story about Superman landing in the Ukraine instead of Smallville, called Superman:Red Son. In that story, Superman lives on Earth until the Sun became a red giant, so around 5 billion years.

  • whoah!!! well i feel stupid once again here but... what eventually killed clark then? like killed and stayed dead, not like killed and brought back to life.

  • I'm not sure if I should say, technically it's a spoiler, a good one at that.

  • lol good point, can you tell me what issue it's in then or whatever so i could see without wrecking it for anybody?

  • Issue #4 of Red Son. You could just pick up the trade for $12 on Amazon or through your Local Comic Book Store, it's a great read.

  • Sorry, typo, Issue #3.

  • oh ok, thanks, but i thought you said that red son was an elseworlds tale?

  • Elseworlds is a line of DC books that are out of mainstream continuity.

  • Nothing ever killed Clark. In the comics, Clark lived on forever. He never died or brought back to life. He never died in the first place.

  • uhm there is a comic called The Death of Superman where doomsday kills superman, several issues with the DC crew called funeral for a friend. 4 series of comics with 4 different types of superman included a metal one, a cyborg, and a kid. Then the issue of the resurection of superman came out. So yeah he's died in the comics

  • Doomsday didn't kill Superman. So yeah, he didn't die in the comics.

  • YEAH HE DID! It happened in the comics in 1992. By Dan Jurgens - DC Comics (1993) - Paperback - 168 pages - ISBN 1563890976 Superman kills doomsday and dies himself. The funeral for a friend comics came shortly after with all the DC characters attending funeral. There were 9 comics in that series. Then "Adventures of Superman 500" came out which was the rebirth of superman entitled "Back from the Dead" Anyway Sups does die once in the comics, proof is in this series of comics.

  • He didn't die. Superman didn't die once in the comics. Proof is in the series of the comics.

  • The climactic event happened in Superman (vol. 2) #75. The issue only contains 22 panels, and every page was a single panel, which was a structure building on the previous issues — Adventures of Superman #497 was done entirely with four-panel pages, Action Comics #684 with three, and Superman: The Man of Steel #19 with two. The entire story was immediately collected into a trade paperback and titled The Death of Superman

  • HOW MUCH MORE PROOF DO YOU WANT!

  • Superman didn't die in the comics. One.

  • I HAVE THE FU**** COMICS! HE FU**** DIES and comes back 2 life!

  • He didn't die or comes back to life.

  • ur obviously as stubborn as an ox so im not arguing with you but the frikin alien from Krypton frikin dies and comes back to frikin life,

  • Superman didn't die or comes back to life.

  • can sombody else get in on this please, and say that the Man of Steel dies in a fight with Doomsday in the comics

  • Superman didn't die in a fight with Doomsday in the comics.

  • Yes he did

  • No he didn't.

  • Your dicks on fire, wake up

  • Superman didn't die.

  • ur gay

  • Doomsday didn't kill Superman.

  • Yes he did.

  • No he didn't.

  • Superman didnt die. he killed doomsday, then doomsday came back to life using the green lanterns ring. DUH fuckin idiot..

  • @Kii777 Dude, not only is that one of favorite Superman stories, but favorite comics period. Friggin awesome.

  • Such a great moment, later in the episode Ryan tells Clark it's like Clarks life goes on forever that's why he sees that instead of the last moment of Clarks life.

  • creepy, at 0:25 you can see a skull

  • I like this part. Shows a sneak peek of the Future Superman. I wish it lasted longer than 40-seconds though. Maybe, someday.

  • i meant yellow thing*

  • Im pretty confident it was the big yellow "S"

  • o yea.. they should keep that yellow "S" on the new superman too cuz i jus realized its on the older supermans

  • Yeah, that pissed me off in Superman Returns! The whole movie pissed me off! Tom rocks! He IS The Man of Steel!

  • I agree, Welling is the new Superman

  • @sdkjhsdglih Sorry, but according to the writers, the new suit, the one that he actually wears in Season 10 (at some point), will be the Superman Returns suit. And frankly, I rather liked the suit for the film, it was the actor I had a problem with. Welling will fill it out rather nicely I believe. BTW, the S on the back always seemed unnecessary to me. And I stopped watching Superman 2 after he threw his S and multiplied himself.

  • @kerevon You should see the Richard Donnor cut of Superman 2 as far as I know that scene wasn't in it.

  • Yes.

  • Superman also has a yellow "S" on the back of his cape in the comics, the removed the "S" on the cape in the movie Superman Returns.

  • wats dat yellow this posed 2 be

  • Awesome dude!

  • wow, ive been searching for a clip of this for awhile now! thx!

  • You're welcome. I was surprised to not find it on youtube anywhere.

  • i know, thats weird since, in my opinion, its such an iconic moment(im surprised its not in the opening credits of the show)
