Yea it'd be cool with alot more water, on the 2nd stage of the rinse it does distribution tumbles which is cool if u add more water, but if u add more water at start of the rinse it won't do the spinrinse!
Yea on these models & zanussi FJ models from 2000/01 on the standard full length progs, if the load is heavy enough it will spin 3 times and do distribution speed each way for a few minutes!
it is a 74640! Yes the towels had absorbed alot of it up. If u use rinse + it uses more water up to where the door glass becomes flat, but u don't get any of the spin rinse or distribution during rinse.
Older AEG machines spins clockwise.

thats silly ud think that if u select rinse+ it would spin to make sure all stuff gets rinsed thoroughly!!

I think that is to stop any damage to the machine if it had alot of water in/out of balance.
