I know he plays synth. The only thing he is using is his keyboard and his MAC. He cans correct a bit the sound with his "masters table", and with you see more, he plays one 'constant' sound with the keyboard. The Orchestra was made by the violins and etc.

I know its very difficult, but ppl can make something a trance music with orchestral instruments. But not the music at all, just the relax part. You can see in this video he didnt use the beats to compose it at all, he just made the "relax part" we are talking about. This is not hard, this is Chillout, at live.
