"That's a good one to burn down. That's the IRS building. That sucker can go right down to the ground for all I care." Holy moly. That line right there, the entertainment value and agreement to accompany is priceless.
This layout is great..it shows it's not all the time about switching and operating but using your mind and creating all sorts of scenes...great job..I enjoyed it so much. Love the carnival rides..I have many of the same rides that I bought at Lowe's around Christmas time! Please psot more videos!
thanks for your kind comments - I'll keep adding more videos as I add stuff or make modifications - I'll be adding some video of a real train in about 3 weeks - we'll be riding the Milwaukee Road 261 on June 22nd and I'll be taking some video for sure of that big monster - they say it's the largest operating coal fired steam locomotive in the world - check my other postings - there are 3 clips regarding the 261
Totally aweswome man! It was nice to see the airport in the light, that is a really cool setup you have there, I love the runway lights. There are so many little scenes that add so much excitement to your layout. I also like that police car with the working flashing lights, and my gosh that is a pretty big derailment. I loved this video, thanks for posting this and 5 stars! :D
I found out what cauesd the derailment - the couple come off one of the cars and the tngines kept pulling the train that was left, and drove right into the 'uncoupled' cars and you can see the result - teh cars accordian folded just like the real trains - that gave me an idea to try to re-create this with camera running - should be a neat experience if I can get it to derail like the scene in this clip and catch it on film
Cool, can't wait for you next videos. Have you ever tried putting your camera on a flat car and have a locomoitve push it around the layout? I would love to see a first person view of your layout. I sometimes tape my cell phone to a flat car or any car and record all kinds of cool views, I've also got some model train accidents on camera too.

my good God man, what's your problem? It's MY layout and I build it the way I WANT it
If you want to make your layout to scale, fine, do it, and while you're at it, take some footage and post it so others can admire your work.
