awesome walkthrough, as are all these these videos for the Skill Points. its one thing to have a written walkthrough, but these rock.

at any rate, I don't think I'll ever be able to do this SP. I got Resistance this last Nov, and now I'm going for all the SP, but a few are just too tricky.

a few are a pain in the ass, some you need to play the level thru and now where everything is, and the order. (like the platform skill point) then the second time you can get them.

the reason i made them was everyone was cutting and pasting bad text guides, and i was like, if i use my cheezy camera and record the SP then i can prove how it's done.

The Sapper works really well on the Widowmaker as well, and no offense, but I think you may need to get a capture card or something so your films don't come out that way.

i used a 3.1 kodak easyshare camera, I will be upgrading now that they make a devise that is a one button record to your psp, ipod, or external harddrive.

So, I did this with "Location Select" on easy, timed myself with a stop watch and made it to the subway in about 4:10 and I did not get the skillpoint. It just took me to the next part of the level... Do you have to do this in normal story mode and NOT location select or what?

i most likely got it in location. return to the normal story mode, sometimes it rewards you the skill points there...it's weird but I've seen it happen...

that happened to me on here and the summerset next speed trap, 50 miles. hopefully it works like Fyifoff said, because I'm going through the game in hard and when I get to those parts I get the skill points hopefully, then I'll only need karma's a bitch.

I just wanted to see if this would work:

As soon as the level starts, go straight then to the area on the left, and then up the stairs. From there, you can target all 3 enemies using the L1 fire from the LAARK. (It kills a stalker on easy in one hit, with the split rockets, I believe.) Same with the widowmaker.

Why you don´t use the other weapons? The stalker is way easier with the splitter.

personally I don't like the splitter and personally think it doesn't even need to be in the game. I use the laark, because, the ammo is there, and it would suck if i did it with the splitter and then the person going after the skill does have that weapon, wouldn't know what to do next

The stalker and widowmaker can be killed in one hit by using the alt fire of the laark with the little rockets. The widowmaker can even be killed before it reaches the playable area using this technique

if you die the clock is still going. so No, you don't want to die, make sure you do this on easy.

Can you die on this part? I noticed that I do not get certain events such as stalkers and the transitions as fast as you do and the thing is there are no enemies alive present when this happens.

yeah a lot of people had that problem including me. Too many people cut and pasteing bad text guides. And tell people how to get skill points from bad guides and now how they got it.
