Billy seemed happier in Zwan. At least in the early years. I prefer Zwan to the new Smashing Pumpkins, by a long shot. Makes me feel happy inside. :-)
Billy made some of his best songs with Zwan, it's just a shame that we'll never hear studio versions of them! God's Gonna Set This World on Fire, Spilled Milk, Riverview, Friends Become Lovers(I think that's the name of it), Dust My Broom, etc.
