That PPD screening is crap- they give it to you while still in the hospital after giving birth- of course you don't have any of those symptoms- you haven't gone home yet. LIFE hasn't happened, and you are still on cloud 9. I think the "screening" should be done at the 6 week pp checkup and not in the hospital only DAYS after giving birth.

@DJG903 Very true, but better to catch the few that experience it before going home + the questions will be remembered so if symptoms come later women will hopefully think about it....

Like with Shaken Baby syndrome education on maternity wards...if it saves one life, but not all of them, it is worth it.
