  • Thank you so much for your tips. Mine are not as neat but it takes practice. Beautiful work.

  • This is amazing, however, I fail... I could not do it!!! xx Well done, your work is beautiful xx

  • géniale !!!j' ai déjà essayée c' est très joli merci de ce partage

  • Great, thanks for your help!

  • This is a very good, quick tip. However, this works well with yarn. I did this years ago. When using thread for crochet check out the tutorial with Olga (olgamog38 on youtube). You'll never have a stuck stitch this way~she uses a sewing needle WITH the crochet hook! I appreciate this tip MHDesigner as it will help when time is an element and I need to finish quickly. Thanks.

  • WOW! I have read so many instructions on this stitch and never got it. Your tip of wrapping the large part of the hook made all the difference. It made the loops big enough to actually get the hook through. Thanks so much!

  • This video is so easy to follow but a not getting the grip. Not giving up as yet, trying trying tilli get it.Thanks so much.

  • You are a very good teacher. I understood it completely. Thanks for sharing this

  • she makes it look so easy; I'm gonna try it again using these instructions. Thanks, Margaret!

  • Very good tutorilal. Thank you for filming and posting.

  • I finally got it! Thanks Margaret. See you in class in July.

  • This is the best video tutoring for the Bullion stitch. Thank you so very much, Margaret!

  • Hi Margaret this is Cristina from Chile, I love your video.

    Thank you very Much

  • thanks! now i'm going to practice!! :)

  • Thank you, thank you! I have been crocheting for years and never thought there were instructions that I couldn't eventually figure out until I came across this stitch in a neckwarmer pattern. The instructions given in the pattern made very little sense - they had left out the last stitch needed to secure the bullion roll. You have saved my sanity!

  • That is a beautiful stitch

  • Thank you that was a really good video, very informative :)

  • Thank you very much for that. Now I can do that!

  • If you search for "italian cast on" you'll find the other video she mentioned in the Knit Picks Podcast.

  • I just heard about this stitch on your knitpick podcast that you did last Friday with Kelley Petkin. Could you let me know how to find the YouTube about your cast on?

What is it called? Thank you SO much.

  • Margaret, this is a wonderful and much-needed video--thank you!

Might mention that you use an in-line hook (Bates), not an A-line hook (Boye) here.

  • Hi! Met you on ravelry and want to thank you for the video! Hugs, heathergem

  • great video, thanks a lot!

  • Great tutorial

  • WTG Margret! Now I have a clue how to do this stitch properly!
