  • Why does he have to die in a glass box?

  • why are they so fucking rough with them? Oh, here, let me drop this 1 pound baby in this bed on his head why dont I.

  • @iFantasiez Babies are handled so roughly, following birth, to stimulate breathing and circulation. Seems barbaric, but it helps keep them alive. Crying is a beautiful sound in a delivery room, so you try to induce it anyway you can.

  • I was very sick as a baby, I threw up every thing I ate. My mom would have to wake up every 2 hours to feed me. God bless my mother. I'm 11 years old and still underweight but I'm happy to be alive.

  • I hope to be a NICU Nurse in about 5 years. I would love to be considered and Angel on Earth. God be with me. <3 and God, Be with these precious, little lives.

  • :( Its so sad to watch things like this. But its good to educate your self about things like this. Im 17 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby.

  • how old was the first baby?

  • i was a premature 2p. 4o. im 11YR. in a half now my name is HOPE GOD BLESS EVERY ONE ;) I PRAY FOR BABYS

  • i cried, but was also inspired. i walk for the MOD. i'll be a NICU nurse when i finish school.

  • Applying surfactant while the baby´s head is on the side - hello!

  • oh my good poor baby.. :((

  • I have wanted to become an OBGYN since I saw "Deliver Me" on discovery health channel when I was 6 yrs old. I was amazed. I am now 16 and still have that same passion in my heart and will do everything I can do pursue it. It is definitely my calling.

  • ay dios mio sin palabras es algo muy triste

  • Saving babies; That's my mission.

  • why would people dislike this video it was ment to be liked

  • why would you keep a baby in a plastic tank when you absalutly know its not going to survive, why not let it live its last few hours of life with its mother and father

  • @MmRockrXx01 For the future babies that will benefit from whatever progress that is noted and any turnaround in health due to applied medications or treatments that the parents may consent to even thought the prognosis is dire. Treatment and study of the ailing is how we find the cure, however painfully slow it may be. Truly a hard decision for the parents.

  • miss my papa and my mama...huwaaaaa...

  • awww this is so sad! I really felt like crying seeing these precious babies. To all pregnant women, I hope heaithy labor

  • Aww it made me feel like crying this singing to his daughter :'(

  • I think I'd like to volunteer to go hold all those baby boy Wesbys who have to die lying alone in a big plastic box. The video shows him just lying there not even swaddled, on that cot. Why did they show it like that? Baby Wesby got no respect in this video, even though it was dedicated to his memory REST IN PEACE little guy...<3<3<3

  • @jtaforJesus I understand how you feel but when a baby is born too early chances are the mother is really really sick and can't even get out of the bed yet as much as she would love too premature birth is risky to the mother too because something went wrong but it is good to have thought for the baby and wanting to give a hug

  • @jtaforJesus I was thinking exactly the same thing before I even read this post.

  • @jstalilred I'm glad someone agrees with me!!! Thank you jstalilred!!!

  • My 1st baby she was born sick with TTN due to AROM during a rapid birth-her original diagnosis was suspected sepsis. 2nd was born healthy with the cord wrapped around his neck twice during the pushing stage. Stopped pushing & he was born rapidly without AROM and he was healthy. My 3rd baby was miscarried due to a bad UTI. My 4th child she was born healthy and my biggest. I think I maybe pregnant again.

  • Poor Baby

  • aiii the father who sing will be loved :)

it makes me so sad :(

  • I am 36 weeks and 5 days preggo right now and I am so thankfull for the hospitles around the nation that make sure that we can bring our babys home safe and healthy, I am posting this on my facebook so maybe we can all realise how important these charities are.

  • I love the Daddy singing to his little girl, she will be loved.

  • Bless those little babies! Go March of Dimes. I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I feel for those parents. I am thankful organizations like this exist to help out through research and care.

  • And to think PETA is against saving the lives of babies how horrible is that.

  • this is gonna be my job when i get my diploma... its my passion!

  • THey're so tiny it's scary! Sweet little babies.

  • thiss iss soo sad , brought tears to my eyes:( , that god they are all okaey god bless those who reached out

  • it's thanks to the march of dimes that my nephew is alive and doing well, he was born two and a halp months early and had severe growth retardation while in utero but now he is doing well and is almost three years old.. he was born at 2lbs 4 ozs and it's thanks to their research that he's even alive..thank you

  • ='(

  • omg i cnt believe the size of the first baby, i hope he/she is doing well.

  • i have preemie twins that were born at 24 5/7 the drs thought they wouldnt make it but there perfectly fine today... aiden is now 12 pounds born at 1p 8.5 oz and his bro caden is 13p born 1p 9 oz... and thanks to the nicu my angels are alive. and i kno i had a c section and couldnt see them till 4 hours later... so to the ppl that said y wasnt the mum there there is ur answer...

  • ... i want to cry....

  • My comment was in reaction to "Schlitzer" asking Where was the baby's mother when it was dying and how horrible for the nurses to just let it lay there in that thing to die alone. I agree it is horrible, but the mom may not have had a choice and we don't see whether the nurses stayed by Baby Wesby's side the whole time or not, but I bet they did.

  • thank god im near the end!! one month!! hope it goes grand, god bless the lil ones xo

  • omg i cried watching this

am pregnant with my 2nd child

am even though my daughter was

born a healthy girl i get

scared dat my son might b born a premie

  • I am going to tart working on knitting hats for preemies/sick newborns soon on my new knitting machine, Im just wondering besides puttign them all in a ziplock bag to send the NICU/NNu to keep them clean, do you have to put them in seperate, zip lock bags for each knitted hat/jacket, and do you have to wrap them what do you wrap them in

  • OMG...i cried when I watched this video. This is really sad!

  • I'm really bothered by this -- the March of Dimes is saving babies...but are they following up with how these children develop into adults? Or are they expanding their advocacy of prenatal care to other, poorer countries who don't have the benefit of NICUs? I feel like some of what the MoD does is outmoded.

  • i had a premature son that was born january 10,2007 he was born at 26 wks and was only 1lb 13oz my son was in the niccu for a lil less than 2 months...... i also have a daughter that was born april 1,2009 at 2lbs 13.8oz .... my daughter is still in the hospital......... my daughter is doin fine compared to wat my son had gone thru on the nicu

  • i had a premature son that wasborn jan 10,2007 he was born at 26 wks and was only 1lb 13oz my son was in the niccu for a lil less than 2 months...... i also have a daughter that was born april 1,2009 at 2lbs 13.8oz .... my daughter is still in the hospital......... my daughter is doin fine compared to wat my son had gone thru on the nicu

  • This is so sad =( im glad they made it out god bless them and god 4 bid if dey would of die i think they would of went 2 heaven =] T.T

  • That little cry was adorable!

  • Nurses are described as angels, perhaps God directs humans with the belief in passion and faith and hope and charity to want to achieve amazing milestones that are a benefit to those who are sick, poor and in need of emotional comfort and in need of love always and during the most trying of times and when a good or innocent person passes into heaven. God works in the hearts and minds of good people. Evil is against Gods good purposes and is at work in the people who abuse other humans

  • @sweetpeacegarden Wow couldn't have explained it better, im actually going to save this (what you wrote) because ive always believed what you said but never knew exactly how to explain it, and you did it so well, God bless!!

  • If God offers a family the gift of hope that prayer might bring some healing to there child or a kind sweet soul of a human to comfort there child and them with nurses there baby is waiting with God whole and healthy and being loved by God in heaven and by the childs parents in heart mind and through faith that there child instead of sick and ceasing to exist physically with no soul, will be alive & whole in soul one day be reunited with parents after the parents destiny on earth is complete

  • how could they let a baby die alone :( how sad.....just put it in a thing and let it die youd think the mother would wanna be with it

  • She may not have had a choice, it's hard to say without knowing more. Having lost quintuplet babies (born alive, but too soon), I was still in labor with 4 more when one was dying for example. Also the drugs they have you on can be so intense that you can't hold your own head up. Furthermore, she may have been fighting for her own life-as I was, with my blood pressure 30 over 0.

  • hi, i am mom of preemie, do you think vaccine is safe for preemie baby? my daugther still in the hospital and they ask my consent for vaccine, iam scare to do it cause all the bad news that i hear!

  • aw, i never notice how tiny. i hope they all get rescued. i have a question. if there sooooooo little is that mean they were born early or what? and i will pray to god everyday to help the poor children. and in danger children who need more help to live. <3 god bless them

  • AWW SO SAD

  • This is heartbreaking,Im soo glad some babies make it out of hospital and some unfortunate.. <3

  • my sisters son was born at 23 weeks he is alive and well took a long time to get him healthy and strong enough to come home but he is 4yrs old now they told her he would die to take him off life support she said no not in any way would she do that and i am glad she didnt

  • i am so happy god blessed me with a healthy lil boy. ya he was only 3pnds wen i took him home. but i am so happy i didnt have to wait. i feel so bad that some people dont get to bring their children home write away.

  • so sad, my heart hurts, especially when I heard her little cry.

  • That's when I started to blub!

  • My son was born at 26 weeks. He was in the NICU for over 2 months. Everytime I watch a March of Dimes video I tear up. Without their research these babies wouldn't have a fighting chance. Keep all those little ones in your prayers.

  • Sorry but not all ppl believe in such nonsense. My son was 34wks wen i had 2 hav an emergency c-section on July 4 2007. He was 3lb 14oz and never expected to live. The cause: CONGENITAL CYTOMEGALOVIRUS (CMV). Your "god" didnt save my baby, MEDICINE and REAL, LIVE HUMANS did. You can preach all you like but it doesnt change the FACTS. Luckily, he is thriving and healthy, 20mths old. He only has hearing loss which is much less than most CMV bubs...

  • hi dueaug...whether you like it or not, there is a God and you WILL meet him one day...so be prepared!

  • Spoken like a true bible bashing, know-it-all christian.

Maybe YOU need to prepare for the fact you will die one day and either be chucked in the ground and rot or be thrown in a fire and burnt. THATS the reality of it, dont kid urself.

  • You need to stop persecuting people. I don't know if you are Christian, but I am, and I know that the God I understand doesn't believe in that kind of bashing people for their beliefs, no matter how reprehensible they are to you.

  • Get over it ?!!!

This happend to much in the world

One month ago, my son he's born at 24 weeks and 5 days, to early

And he's deaded one our later.

    so don't say

    GET OVER IT

it's happend to much every time

  • OMG- get ur facts right before u go making stupid comments- i WAS NOT saying "get over it" about prem babies and all that- i HAVE a prem baby so dont get all up in my face about it.

  • One of my brothers contracted cytomegalovirus too, died around 21 weeks gestation. I for one hope to meet him for the first time someday... For now, please don't bash the beliefs of others if they're not hurting you. Thanks.

Btw, I'm glad to hear your son survived. :-)

  • Im very sorry about your brother- CMV is an amazingly devastating virus...

But as for the whole "god/heaven" thing, im not hurting anyone by NOT believing so they need to stop posting their crap directed towards me. If i wanted to be bible bashed and have my head filled with crap, id go to church.

All you christians think that the people who dont believe in your "god" are in the wrong, well whose to say YOUR not??? Just cuz u all think ur right doesnt mean you are.

  • I'm sorry if I offended you - wasn't my intention. Just feel like religion is being attacked a lot these times... At least we're still able to practice it in the West.

P.S. Thanks for spreading the message about CMV! My mom is pretty certain that she contracted it from contact with our cat back then.

  • You must be misinformed about CMV- It can not be contracted from cats. You must be thinking of Toxoplasmosis which is what is caught from cats (their feaces to be precise). It does pretty much the same damage as CMV can do but they are 2 different things. CMV is passed through bodily fluids. It lies dormant in the body for life and it can reactivate when the immune system is lowered. In adults and children it shows as just a cold/flu.

  • Ah, okay. That might be what my mom said...I get mixed up. Thanks.

  • dueaug Im sorry that your son was born sick, wish he had been born healthy but spirtual belief in many comforting forms has a purpose

  • ohhhh i remember my time... my baby was born 2lb ....

habib zia... u can see his video on you tube

  • Ohh my gosh, to all the mommies and daddies who have to see their tiny babies holding on to life, God bless you and ur beautiful babies

  • my son was 4lbs 4ozs at 33 1/2 weeks. he was lucky that he was able to breathe on his own. he was in the nicu for 3 weeks until he gained weight and was also able to show that he could keep his temp under control as well as his food. he is now 22 months old. he is my miracle baby.

  • i was 1 pound 4onces

  • Had a miscarriage on feb 13th 2007. Day after I fodn out I was pregnant at the doctors casued by a bad UTI. In 2008 on July 22nd delivered a 7 pound 13 ounce baby girl with agars of 9 and 9 membranes also broke naturally with 3rd child like they had with my 2nd child.

  • I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage. :-( Congradulations on the birth and health of your two more children!! :-)

  • I had a 7 pound 4 ounce son after this with no pregnncy complications, membranes broke naturally had cord wrapped around neck twice during the pushing told to stop, dad cut the cord he was fine with apgars of 8 and 9.

  • Treated as if she had sepsis before they found out it was a mild case of TTN needing 23-28% blow by 02 for a night into the early morning only. Given 7 days of antibiotics in a NNU went hoem at 9 days old. She never set foot in a NICU. The natural birth made her sick.

  • I had a high risk pregnancy of severe maternal anemia at 35 weeks had 2 blood transfusions at 35 weeks and took my iron tablets. I went to term delivering an average sized baby of 7 pounds 1 ounce, with apgars of 7 and 9. But due to my membranes being ruptured by an instrument during a rapid birth told to push her out quick she was born with TTN (wet lungs).

  • oh lord! thank god we have the technology today to at least give these beautiful babies a chance that they would have never had if it was 20 years ago.

  • i almost cried on this video God bless all the babies..

  • How I wish I could help!!=[

  • Let's take a time-out.This was to educate people on prematurity & the importance of prenatal care.I know this because I work in the NICU where this was taped.(The Med-Memphis.)It's a fairly older video though.Yes, a lot of our moms don't get adequate, if any, prenatal care. But a lot of our moms are suffering from other illnesses that contribute to the prematurity of their child. The baby is innocent regardless, the parents are devastated just the same. I go to work everyday for those reasons.

  • Beautiful song sung by that guy!!! Amen... Beautiful children:) God bless and protect them x

  • bless the little souls

  • My daughter was born at 26 weeks gestation. There was nothing that I did wrong. My placenta had an infection and my body tried to reject the infection which caused me to go into labor. She was 2 pounds and 13 inches long. She is now a healthy 5 year old and is going strong. We do the March of Dimes walk every year now. We are so greatful for all the research the March of Dimes has helped donate money for. They helped save our daughter. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts

  • What a wonderful story! Good luck to your family.

  • Some of these babies have to be born early via emergency c-sections to save these children while they can. Babies can go into fetal distess for all sorts of reasons despite excellent prenatal care. Pregnancy and childbirth are both unpredictable outcomes for a baby. Some women had been diagnosed with medical conditons in pregnancy that threaten the life of mom and baby and the only way to save them both is to deliver the baby early via c-section.

  • It shouldn't be assumed that babies born prematurely are born to moms that have not seeked prenatal care.Speaking from experience,I had 2 preconception visits to make sure I was in the best health & taking appropriate vitamins before I got pregnant AND never missed an appt once I did conceive. However my baby was still born 12 weeks early and only lived for 14 days. After months of testing my son & myself, it is still unknown why I delievered prematurely.Sometimes there are no answers...

  • How about you are cruel? How DARE YOU make any assumptions. You can't say with any certainty WHO pays for the babies stay... My husband and I pay for our own insurance and thanks to it, our daughter got care in the NICU when she was born. YOU need to keep your ignorant statements to yourself.

It's easy to spout off when you haven't been there, when it's YOUR own child.

  • Who the fuck are you to down some ppl for saving sick babies??? this is their life were talkin about and just because there a lot of sick babies in this world that doesnt mean ppl dont know wut birth control is and it definately doesnt always means its the parents fault....there are some bad parents out there but most women do get the prenatal doctors appts. when i was prego with my twins as soon as i knew i was prego i was at the doctors office

  • Yes, allot of woman seek care, but sadly many of them cannot even efford to go to woman's clinics !

  • Well...I don't even know what to say to some one like you.

After reading alittle further down I see that these people are basically saying everything I would want to. Please just remember that even if YOUR tax dollars go to save a life, I'd rather it go towards saving a child than going into the pocket of some woman livin in the ghetto w/ 5 kids she can't support. Also why would it bother you are you that pressed for money or just a greedy person? I pray for the women who have been through this.

  • I am a healthy, educated, tax paying, drugfree woman from suburbia. Before the PLANNED conception of my son I even took folic acid and prenatals to prepare my body. I was at the OB's office after first + home pregnancy test, went to every Dr appointment, ate right and stayed active. At 30 weeks I developed a condition called pre-eclampsia and HAD to have a emergency c-section to save BOTH our lives. He stayed in the NICU for 5 weeks. People need to educate themselves before passing judgment!

  • Premature birth via c-section (or even by another cause) and then saving both the baby and the mother is not "playing god". The doctors and nurses behind many saved premies are not creating life, they are preserving life. By saying that we're playing god, you are either insinuating that we are taking God's role as creator instead of a doctor's role as healer, OR you think that God's plan was for the babies to die because of something they'll do otherwise. This is not the case. We have free will.

  • God bless all the little children..........

  • God bless all babies!!! they are a beautiful gift from the worlds greatest..GOD!!

  • MY son was born at 3 1 weeks and i was lucky to of recieved the hormone they were talking about. our son came out breathing and but had a hernia hydroseal..it was a blessing no less. he is 4 yrsold an happy god bless kamploops nicu & kelowna nicu too..

  • As the mom of a 25wker 1lb 12oz we are truly blessed to have the technology and the wonderful doctors and nurses to help our little ones survive. Check out my videos to see the results 12 yrs later.

  • Thank God for these people.

  • you can only describe these people with one word.Amazing.

  • They are so tiny.....so precious. These people are doing an amazing job. Giving such tiny unhealthy babies the chance to live is so fantastic, technology and people working together can make miracles happen.

  • God bless every one of your team, who help these babies to live.
