  • This is so beautiful and relaxing that i wont try to explain it in mere words. But i must say, to love buddhism and pagan chants, and heavy metal, is a rather odd combination. Oh how i love music..

  • Is anyone able to translate the above pin yin into mandarin -- simplified characters? I've been looking for the lyrics and can't seem to find them. would be much appreciated! 阿弥陀佛

  • This is from the book of "Wisdom Heart Sutra".Einstein: including the expected future characteristics of the universe, it is beyond the personification of God, avoid dogma and theology, covering both natural and spiritual, which is based on all things natural and spiritual world as a meaningful whole experience caused the religious consciousness. Buddhism is in line with this description, if there is anything that can cope with modern scientific needs of the religion,it must be Buddhism.阿彌陀佛

  • hiya, just posted the lyrics of this chant. it's 般若波罗密多心经... pls refer to my comment above if u need to:) 阿弥陀佛

  • Truth = universal nature. With duality in mind, one will unable to see the truth.

  • Thank you @goldenshazy! For sharing and explaining, but not only seek THE truth (it does not exist): seek YOUR truth in the awareness that there is not ONE truth, not even at a single moment. Life is change, to live is to change. Learn, grow, change, teach, love…

  • An English translation would be helpful. This is beautiful music, in ANY language!

  • Buddha never said to follow him or to make statues and seek refuge. Buddha never said that Buddhism is the only true religion. Buddhism is nothing but a human handy work. Buddha is just a philosopher.

    SEEK THE TRUTH !!!

  • Historical criticism has proved that the original teachings of Buddha can never be known.

There were differences of opinion and conflicting memories in the council.

Opinion of Kayshapa and Ananda who were prominent disciples of Buddha were given preference.

A hundred years later, a second council at Vesali was held.

Only after 400 years, after the death of Buddha were his teachings and doctrines written down.

Little attention was paid regarding its authenticity, genuineness and purity.

  • Some religions are about worshipping god, think only god, buddhism is about appreciating yourself, helping yourself

  • @FruityDC well put

  • Love, live and help is all God wants us to do.

  • I like how it gives lyrics to chant along with

  • You know...I think I'm starting to understand Buddhism.

We as humans have a tendency to want to prolong that which is pleasurable, and when that feeling fades, we suffer. Thus, desire is the cause of suffering...and only by letting these feelings, both good and bad, ebb and flow, we will be above the suffering.

    It's starting to get simple.

  • you can appreciate chinese mentality just looking at the letters every letter is a piece of art and needs concentration to be written even for a chinese i m sure of that

  • God speaks all languages. I'm Cristian and I love this. thank you.

  • Why are we arguing about religion? Do you hear the music? Do you feel that calming effect that it induces? Let it last, and simply chill. No need to talk or argue.

  • i don't know the meaning, but in my heart it sound like a waterfall...

  • 아제 아제 바라아제 바라승아제 모지 사바하

  • i have not cried for 20 years. until i heard this...i love you all my brothers and sisters

  • can`t get over it ........

  • REMEMBER: all religions are the same path to oneness nirvana will one day be achieved by everyone if one. Does reasearch they are to find that all religions beliefs are in meditation as I Dr bhodisatva have descoverd. Dharma belongs to no one apart from god , does exist wheather we like it or not , god exists in budhisim but god OS not the center recently in modern budhisim we have forgotten the segnificence of god Buddha rememberd gods name day and night thus achieving enlightenment remember.

  • @TheGsd1212 Sorry but not ALL

  • Atheist is not the answer believing in budha is not athisim if u r Buddhist that meens that you believe in dharma and dharma is the same for every religion , Buddha was not athiest but chose not to talk about god because questions about the unknowingly clouds our mind but god does exsist u see god unknowingly through the great Buddha best wishes I hope I helped,.!

  • @TheGsd1212 U say 'dharma is the same for every religion'

I am sorry again but dharma is not the same for every religion or even every person.

  • thanks you it's my evening meditation " life is good you just need to see it of the good side "

  • This is lovely. Thank you for posting it.

  • I'm a Christian Buddhist and I am so happy!

  • @AdonaiAries The two are not mutually exclusive. Moreover, it is possible that Jesus himself may have been brought to India to be taught the ways of the Buddha during his teens and twenties.

  • @thespeez Thank you. I am well aware of the connections between the two. You practically can't be Christian without practicing some form of Buddhism. If you do it right, that is.

  • @AdonaiAries christian /Buddhist ?

  • @freedom71000 YepYep!

  • @AdonaiAries cool man :)

  • @AdonaiAries kool kool i hope others can find happiness like you : )

  • @freedom71000 Awes! Thanks Dear!!!!

  • @AdonaiAries Im so happy that you realize the two can exist in tandem. Bless you. Namaste

  • @AdonaiAries Is Jesus impermanent? Is so, is he still a God? If not, how do you reconcile that with Buddhist dharma? Just curious...

  • @imaccuish Is Jesus impermanent? Not at all. That should answer your next question. How do I reconcile that with Buddhist Dharma? Easy, I practice kindness. The book "Buddhism For Dummies" (not trying to be a jerk. seriously, i read it) will give you a really great answer to that question.

  • I wish I knew the language soooo beautiful

  • @warlae It's in the title....Mandain

  • @ReagueOfRegends knew as in spoke and comprehend the language

  • @warlae I will post a video in your channel for you that will hopefully answer you question

  • just listening to this music, happiness overflowed in me and tears flowed down my cheeks

  • y r people fighting over religious beliefs again?

  • Hell, I'm a Roman Catholic that believes in reincarnation.

  • To MegaKrishan123 and itachideidara4eva: You either follow Buddha, Mohammed or Jesus. You can be neutral but not a Buddhist, a Muslim and a Christian at the same time.

  • @itachideidara4eva I can not understand how you can believe in Allah and praise him as the only god and on the other side be a follower of buddhismn. Would you like to explain it to me? I am just interested.

  • @Zim883 exactly...

  • This is good but Sanskrit version is better.

  • @joey143anna Any links or names or the name of the sutra please. Thanks

  • I am Buddhist Christian, and I feel that any religion is ok as long as we spred love and acceptance.

  • The tolerance you people show in your hearts, being of many religions, is reassuring and a great thing to express. But there is the saying, jack of all trades, master of nothing. Maybe indeed tha time of single religions have passed. But what to believe in than ? We are strong in reason these days. There must be a universal truth, of what single religions are only facets of.

  • I am a Chinese Taoists also a Buddhist I Love Buddha

  • There is truth in all religions, no matter how corrupt their holy doctrines and scriptures have become. Each religion does preach: Not to lie, Not to steal, Not to kill, and Not to engage in sexual misconduct. These are the basic universal laws that balance out our universe. They are preached in all religions. Dharma is truth, and truth is found in all religions. No matter what path you choose, it leads you to the truth. Find your own path, is what I believe the buddha preached.

  • I am a romanian Christian, and Buddhis too, and love it

  • BEAUTIFUL chant. Thanks for uploading.

  • I think you can be any religion you want but still accept certain teachings of different religions. I'm Christian, but I believe in a lot of Buddhist principles. It's good stuff to learn and take into your life. Religion is like a shattered mirror, no single religion has it exactly right (or at least teaches all of it). So you go and look for what YOU think is right.

  • I learn from book , everyone has his/her home .... home=palace,home,street,forest,space,water,good,bad,others

  • The beauty of this goes so far beyond words...

  • Does the GOP, even know why they are stopping the democrats at any cost? How many more tactics; well be used that keeps damaging the virtue of our noble country? (we can coexist!)

translation: ("gone gone, gone beyond, gone altogether beyond, O what an awakening, all hail!)

Sanskrit IAST: gate gate pāragate pārasaṃgate bodhi svāhā

  • I'm vegetarian, my housband & my kids too. I been vegetarian since a was born. andI love this peaceful songs. thanks to sharing.

  • @sedimisas59

Be blessed, you and your family ! :)

  • @AngelLarreto

You base your opinion on the four noble truths Gautama taught. I could just as well say, clinging, attachment to this teaching, based on the very teaching itself, is suffering. Thus, this teaching is uniportant, using the same logic.

This way you do not accomplish more than the fundamentalist christian, who states that only through believeing in the name of Jesus we are saved, and you are no better or more entitled to your opinion than anyone else.

  • @HubertTheBeardless @HubertTheBeardless

    Diamond Sutra chapter 6:

    "是故不应取法,不应取非法。以是义故,如来常说,汝等比丘。知我说法,如筏喻者,法尚应舍,何况非法?"

"For this reason, do not cling to the dhama, do not cling to the non-dhama. Due to his, Buddha always say to his disciples: those who understand my dhama teachings, is like using the raft to cross the river, the raft should be discarded upon crossing. As the dhama should be discarded, isn't the non-dhama should also to be discarded ? "

  • And If you can see a big smoke far away, You don't need to see the fire to say their is a big fire.

The same While there are so many signs (a tree, animals, humans, the whole universe) of existence of God. we don't need to see the God to say there's God. And the best sign of existence of one and only God almighty is the Holy Qur'an.

  • In order to say there is no God, you must know the whole definition of God. And for example you are searching for an item in a several storey building, you don't know where it'd be. You have to check in every nick and corner and turn the building up side down to find the item. Without doing so you can't tell for sure that the item is not in the building.

  • @goldenshazy

The same way you can't tell there is no God. Because Science and Technology is not that advance enough to check in every nick and corner of the whole universe.

  • @goldenshazy

The real question is not that of God. It is: is there anything else, more than what we are able to percieve using our ordinary senses ? And the answer is always personal. From a 100 people half will rather beleive that there are no such things, the other half will rather believe that there are. Maybe from a 1000, there is one who is free of prejudice, either positive or negative. People always bend ideas to their own liking. Overcoming this habit is half victory.

  • @HubertTheBeardless I'm open minded. And I'm biased towards the Truth !

Show me a better way other than Islam.

Islam is the only complete way of life.

  • @goldenshazy

I could show not one, but many. But the question is, will you be able to see them ?

I did not say, Islam is not a complete way of life. But I cannot accept the exclusivist, "only complete way of life" you state.

I would even go that far, that for a person born in islamic cultural influence, it is indeed the best way, up until a certain point. At a certain point one rises to universality.

  • @goldenshazy Islam is impractical. In Bangladesh, they killed all the milk giving animals on Eids in celebrations by culling,in place of their children because God wasn't sure if his pupil were really devoted to him. OMG, what a fart. But God did not give them them back & there was milk starvation. Islam is nomadic religion fit for desert nomadic tribes only, also in these times it is has become more unfit. Its followers become paranoid which results in distress on peaceful people.

  • @goldenshazy Why??? Buddhism is the complete way of life, non violent & the God does not ask for the children's heads, in the form of animals of course, he he.

So, please follow Buddhism & bring peace on Earth & to animal kingdom. Thanks

  • i love this i have never been so relaxed i love Buddhist chants it just puts me at ease

  • I love so much the Buddhism! Peace!

  • PS. This of course should not separate us, and we are allowed to have warm feelings one to another, what this music evokes. But give the mind what it needs, too. True, that our limits in thought separate us most of the time, but this does not mean we should give up. I am sure that there is room for development, and rational comprehension of all worldy phenomena is possible as result of hightened mental activity.

  • Islam is the religion of truth

  • @11berns

Good, this is what you believe. Some fundemntalist christians think the same, that christianity is the one true religion. I am sure there are others too, nichiren buddhism comes to my mind.

You see, because of this we need to be able to discern things, and compare theologies, world views, scientific materialism included. Nothing exonerates us from thinking and using our own heads and hearts. A daunting task, yes, but one only laziness and superficiality deems impossible.

  • @HubertTheBeardless yeah. comparing is the second poison that cause hatred and anger. first is greed, third is ignorance.

  • @pangpingw

Not necessarily. You are right that most of the time people are so fond, attached to their believes, that they immediatly percieve other, perhaps contradictory believes as threats, than fear awakens, and from fear comes antipathy, anger, than hatred. But this is not an inurmontable obstacle. Equanimity is known as a requirement in many eastern practices. The philosofical thought needs the scientific method. Raja yoga comes to my mind.

  • @HubertTheBeardless if i understand correctly, equanimity is always there (therefore we have Buddha nature), its just that because of the delusion (and other poisons), its not shown. but with practices, we can see the equanimity in us again.

  • @11berns Ya! truth of falsehood

  • more beautiful than the Sanskrit. But the Sanskrit the real one. peace siblings!

  • so good :)

  • chill bumps:)) love it, thanks:)) ONE <3

  • @waveshot34 But did he have only one son.

  • wish i can hug the world and the world can hug me..so sad we have to see, color, language, gender, religion...wish all these things where erasable and i can erase it so we all can see like the blind, and listen like the deaf.

  • @BlueMoonLightDreams what a good wish! thanks!

  • @BlueMoonLightDreams Nice comment, but the colour bit? colours mean alot, our emotions have a natural connection with colour...it should be appreciated more.. :)

  • @XXHattoriHanzoXX I think he means race...

  • @XXHattoriHanzoXX thank you! oh...and i meant "Skin Color" my mistake, not colors in general.

  • There is no right or wrong religion. Choose the religion that brings you closer to your God. =)

  • @MartinJFaulks Hm.. Tricky.. In the Bible God had the same problem: he thought that humanity was evil and to be erased and was nearly done before Noah made him change idea. Most christians consider their God good. On the other side barely anyone considers a mass murder good. But the real challange of the question is what it implies: if a person is convinced that killing people is good not much would stop him. I have to think a bit about this one... What would your answer on your question?

  • @isethoriginal maybe we can examine the causes behind the killing.

  • @pangpingw That would be a good idea, but once you know why they kill, how do you want to stop them?

  • This puts my troubled heart at peace...beautiful :')

  • Nice sound form Thailand Vk/nopparat

  • @TheVladimirovich13 i think it's chinese.

  • @vividDC The Purans state that Man was not the first product of nature & that it took millions of years for him to reach existence. The only problem lies in History. Purans state that intelligent Humans & Civilisations existed much before than what historians say & there are enough evidence that some very peculiar archaeological, historical, empirical facts are ignored for the sake of Present History else they make it very topsy turvy.

  • @goldenshazy

I can't believe your hypocrisy. You're not here for an intelligent discussion at all. You're just a bigot trying to sell an ideology for the simple minded and gulible...a bunch of simple and naive explanations for a reality too complex for you to comprehend otherwise.

  • Historical criticism has proved that the original teachings of Buddha can never be known.

Only after 400 years, after the death of Buddha were his teachings and doctrines written down.

Little attention was paid regarding its authenticity, genuineness and purity.

  • @goldenshazy

Historical criticism is based on a set of assumptions (axioms) common in modern science. These are not absolute truth, but only are a set of believes shared by most scientists. History will prove them wrong in many ways, just as it has proved scientists of all ages to be mistaken. The building of science is not just an ever greowing one, but an ever changing one, following the development of human consciusness.

  • @HubertTheBeardless That is what 'Tripitaka' says... You can't proceed with your own interpretations..

  • @goldenshazy that is why Buddha say to examine the teaching based on 3 principles - impermanence, non-self and peacefulness after enlightenment. 三法印

  • @pangpingw There are hundreds of Scientific errors, Contradictions, illogical portions and statements which cannot be practically implemented in the teachings of Buddhism. What does this mean?

  • @goldenshazy

...it means that you are equivocating. Religions and modern sciences are extremly different concepts. The first are sets of dogmas, immutable in nature, offering a rigid and simple view of the physical world (though some, as buddhism, don't bother too much with the physical world at all). The latter relies mostly on constantly changing views backed by empirical observations.

Should one choose to analyse everything scientifically, all religions would be deemed wrong or illogical

  • @JoeF315 That is called blind belief.

The Most and only Authentic, Scientific, Logical and Practical religion is Islam !

    SEEK THE TRUTH !!!!

  • @goldenshazy

There's no such thing as Scientific religion. Was that a joke ?

To call a theory scientific, that theory should have empiric consistency and predictive power, as in you assume something and future experiments/observations will validate you. So far, no religion has achieved that.

Religious apologetics usually does the exact opposite (which is pseudo-science):

    - choose some "facts" and build analogies to some random text

    - try to "predict" events after they've happend

  • @JoeF315 SEEK THE TRUTH !!!

  • @goldenshazy

The Truth ? :) that's interesting... lots of people claim to be searching it...some even claim to have found it ... yet, none of them can produce a single proof to substantiate those kind of claims

  • @goldenshazy The whole world knows the Truth. Islam makes crackpots & u seem to be one of them. Why don't u go on some hate mongering Islamic site & bray with your fellows

  • @unityspirit52

What about being endarkened ? Did you do that too ?

  • As an example: it is not indiferent what various religions, theologies or world views say about animals. The materialist atheist should not have any problem with killing animals as the top predator of the planet. The hindu, who believes the neighbours cow might be his siter reincarnate, will naturally shy from killing, or even hurting, abusing the cow. The christian who believes animals don't have souls comparable to that of humans, might be more forgiving regarding animal mistreatment.

  • Wonderful Heart Sutra that emanates a beautiful energy.

  • This song makes me cry. There is so much emotion and love the speaks through it's words, whether you understand them or not.

  • Vibration of unity, to be able to :: feel , hear & see with eyes closed is the igniting of love & peace. To not look down on your fellow men is understanding equality. "no greed no hate" That is our wonderful world. LET'S KEEP STRIDING FOR THIS.

  • @unityspirit52 ... Not to be judgemental, but I find that people who brag about their wisdom generally have little...
