  • Genie!!! Danke...

  • You are a genius, thanks for charing.

  • Ouch. Yeah, he's right. They just changed the patent law so paperwork filing takes precedence over who invented it first. NOw I wanna get a caliper so bad.

  • that's awesome, you're a great engineer

  • dude !im stressing over cutting a mortise in my new french doors, looks like you would be a good friend to have right now.

    btw excellent machine,simply amazing work.

  • @dognuts101: I'll second that btw!!

  • No doubt this thing blends.

  • Crazy machine!!, I give it 12 out of 10! and you Man! you are Genius!!

  • Ah the mastercraft maximum router. Just picked it up for 99 bucks on sale. 2HP, 1/4, 1/2 collets, 2 plunge bases, led worklight, variable speed, slow start.. Great for a pantorouter or mortising machine..

  • truly legend ! im your avid fan, your methods rely helping me im from philippines and i admire your ideas to make works so easy and fast, hope you could build more.

  • Awsome proyect, hope i see this video before i build the japanise style door that i build

  • I hope you have submitted for a patent.

    Truly genius.

  • UoHHHHHH, great Machine !!!,,,Congratulations you are a Monster !!!

  • wow, at one point i thought i was watching a robot do the work, well done on the precision :D

  • Then waste your money on something overpriced instead.

I just got the cheapest one.

  • Put a PICAXE on that one too, and you're half way to having a semi-automatic furniture plant.

  • This guy had built a machine that allows for more precision than he used to make it. That's like opening a safe without the key to get the key inside that opens the safe! incredible!

  • thise guys makes his own tools to make more tools -.-

  • wow! makes me want to give up woodworking, very well thought out & tight tolerances too.

  • NICE!

  • i did the same but i used a big motor to avoid break time and noise for a large amount of wood. the difference is u have one lever that makes it easier.

  • I went to the link you put in your description and saw the other tools you have made. You have a good head on your shoulders but you already knew that. You should know more of us know it now. Keep up the good work.

  • Even though you adjusted the slides to reduce play, wouldn't they still flex enough to throw off the accuracy? What are the downsides of using a design like your tenon jig for this application? would the bushings bind when under pressure? I'd hate to build something like this only to have if flex and be a waste of time.

  • Flex has not been a problem at all. The forces aren't that great. The downside of shafts and bushings is that they take up much more room and don't slide as easily.

  • you're the best!!!!, my job is make cabinets, but, I love your work...

  • one word : wow..

  • Good lord you are a master of gears and levers and just straight awesomeness :)

  • You really need to put the vacuum closer.

  • Where did you get the motor from??

  • Its a router, the type that comes with interchangeable fixed and plunge bases.

  • @Matthiaswandel Cool but WHERE did you get the motor from?

  • Hey thats awesome, Thanks so much for sharing.

  • Do you sell plans for this? This is unbelievable. How do you find the time to build this stuff. You cant be married with kids! Divorced? Genious anyway!

  • clever! great work!

  • Have a wooden car?

  • Great jig! It could be adapted for CNC automation.

  • dude u are a fucking genius

  • wow, that is really great!!! and for not alot more work, you could convert it to a CNC version :) very well planned and designed

  • There's already a machine like this but then more confortable from steel we have it on school ;)

  • Cool, I want to build one.

Ok, so first get your wood, and then you're going to have to mortise this piece and this piece or you can't build it.

    BAH!!!

  • Dang, you're a freaking genius! I bet you can make some awesome furniture.

  • hi dear friend¡do you believethat we can make together a machine best? i invite to you to see "escopladoras vilatecnia" in you tube i hope your response thans

  • but wouldn't you need a slot mortising machine to make slot mortising machine?

  • wow who taught you these things?

  • are u bobtebuilder?

  • are u bobo the builder?

  • I like the artistic idea of this mashine! It works fine, but besides it it is something to enjoy during work!

    Great!!!!

  • I'M TRYING TO BUY THE PLANS OF YOUR MACHINE. I'M USING MY VISA CREDIT CARD. BUT YOUR SISTEM DEMAND TO ME THE PAY-PAL SISTEM. AND PAY-PAL DEMAND ME TO HAVE TWO (2) CREDIT CARDS. IN VENEZUELA THE ONLY WAY TO PAY IN USD.($) IS BY ONLY ONE CREDIT CARD. PAY PAL DON'T ALLOW ME BUY YOUR PLANS. FIRST TIME I HAVE TROUBLES TO PAY WITH. IF YOU CAN HELP ME, WRITE ME TO monkeytiger47@hotmail.com

  • Arquimedes, centuries ago said: give me a lever and I can move the Globe. \Years ago I took a stand wich match with my Bosch router in a vertical position. then I took a cross-vise with a movable jaw (where I clamp the work) and 2 screws with handles, like the Hugh Lyman's version. It works, but you must work slow and you must use 2 hands. Your idea is simple but genial because you can work with one hand and quickly

  • Why did you use drawer slides for your x and y axis. Why not use the same type of set up that you have on the z axis.

  • if u add a tube blowing air on the other side of the motor pointed CAREFULLY towards the suction dryer vent thing you can probably increase the saw dust suction, but im not shure as ive never done this

  • very good invention, the plans plese....

  • Sorry, URLs in comments alwaysget deleted so can't post the link. But follow the link in the description, and there will be a link to the plans on that page.

  • @Matthiaswandel

I'm sorry, what did you say at the end? within a few... I'm guessing its a fraction of an inch, but we only use metric in the UK. Also, its a great machine, but do you ever use it, now that you have the pantorouter? or is it somewhat obsolete?

  • great invention

  • I would like send you my commentary, but this page do not allow to me. ask for help and is not posible

  • ! Wow! Congratulations. Dramatic invention or creation

  • Nice stuff, and a great machine build!

Very good design and ease of use, congrats!

  • Comment removed

  • are you an engineer or something like that? How much time did you spend to exploit the maximum capacities of this machine?

  • one handed operation on the wood

  • I see by previous comments this will be redundant, But You are a genius! People pay up to $4,000.00 for a machine like this. I purchased one from Laguna Tools for $1,000.00 and it is not as accurate for vertical measurement as yours is! Laguna does have a floor-stand mortiser similar to mine with more options and accuracy but guess what? $4,000.00.

  • Yes, slot mortisers unfortunately are not consume type equipment, so they are quite expensive. Hollow chisel mortisers are available for consumers, but even a professional hollow chisel mortiser isn't going to do very accurate work.

  • good idea

  • complimenti sei un genio con il legno

  • my jaw is still dropped even after watching the whole video.

  • this is very cool....

  • Is there anything you can't make out of wood!?! Definitely genius!

  • hahah he uses wood to cut wood! xD

  • Excellent, congratulations good tool, Henry de Venezuela

  • Excelente, te felicito buena herramienta, Henry de Venezuela

  • Excelente! Very impresive how accurate your machine is. What sort of motor is that?

    Felicitaciones

    Congratulations!

  • beautiful machine!

  • smart

  • Wow this guy is good! :D

  • amazing you are very talented...

  • that thing is sweet I could use one in my metel shop. Try making one from metel and I would bye one for like $5,000

  • Dude, absolutly beautiful. You have some serious tallent. Id love to buy it off you :) somehow i doubt youd sell it :) I wonder....how long did it take you to make, and is it your own design? I love it.

  • You sir, are a woodworking genius.

  • Excelente y creativo trabajo. Tenés mucho talento. Felicitaciones.

Excellent and creative work. You have much talent. Congratulations.

  • sweet

  • you kick ass! :D

  • Self made?, Nice!

  • I love how you instead of going out and buying one, you just made one yourself. :) Wonderful.

  • your a genius! how many things have u done lol can you make a vid when you are showing evrything haha

  • you lost me after 0:10

  • sos un genio muy creativo ,beutifuuuuul where can fine how do it ? tx

  • Even your tools are works of art.

  • just saying, wouldnt you need a really steady hand to go back and forth? or you'lll go diagonal?

  • wow thats some great work there Grats on making it and making it so perfect

  • Love it. I need one.

  • awesome

  • This guy is PURE genius!

  • It's well executed, but the basic concept is a copy of commercially available tools (albeit very expensive ones).

  • @Merdam9 Leonardo da Vinci

  • i want one

  • real talent indeed

  • the lights on the front are sweet

  • Damn, I want one of those :D

  • good work if this machine was on the market i would buy it

  • im 12 but its so cool the machine i like it

    :p

  • Wait, what does this thing do?

  • its more steady and it helps with measuring i guess...

  • gotcha

  • that is fucking great that is great craftsmanship i wish i was as good with my hands you have some real talent

  • expect to see a version of this jig marketed by a ruthless conglomerate who got the idea from this video.

  • fenomenal, esto es motivacional para los que nos guta la creatividad.felicidades por tu trabajo y la originalidad del mismo.

  • ingenious

  • Good job on the counter wheel...it's a variation on the machinist's divider plate!

*wish I could get a shop set up...*

  • You know that there is something wrong with our society when pop videos can get seventy million views and something like this only gets seventy thousand.

  • very cool!

  • wow thats amazing!!!

  • i love how you even make you're tools out of wood to make other wooden things :)

  • this guy is *uckin* smart

  • fantastic jig mate, however its obvious that you dont do woodwork for a living, far to much spare time on your hands nice bit of kit though

  • Impressive how you got this jig so stable.

I would like to know how the crank is attached so it does not allow for any slip.

  • The Mastercraft 2-1/4 hp router used to make this is a very nice unit, and it's not too expensive either.

  • 2:50

    Funky sounds..

  • at 3min45 one of the screw seems to get loose from the vibes. might wanna fix that

  • dude you look so much like my tech teacher its scary. your just a little younger. im serious its fucking scary

  • Very impressive my friend, you should offer this to a tool company and have them produced and collect a licence fee....great work.

  • great another nerd gone millionaire......when are we regular people going to get a break :_ (_ _

  • When you win the lottery or get unhuman powers(super powers) Dont blame the nerds or get fired >.>

  • WOW!!!!! two thumbs up, that's a great machine, I'm going to build one for me, any advice or improvements on yours! i want to build a pocket hole cutter with neumatics

  • Genius - sell that idea to Festool now!

  • You can now buy plans for this machine. Just follow the link in the description.

  • Kinda like a horizontal milling machine.

  • this machine is just amazing,

    you realy are a legend!

  • i wanna be ur apprentice

  • You have to be as good as leanardo da vinci to create such masterpieces of engineering

  • wow nice!!

  • 3D !

  • wow u really did a good job on builiding this if i could i would buy it

  • Five stars and a fave. You've created an exceptional machine. The only slight criticism is the operator has to use math to factor the bit diameter. Since they come in exact sizes it shouldn't be hard.

    Well done!

  • very impressive..

  • I want you to build my house.

Seriously, you are a god amongst men.

  • Aw, nice. I would want one like that.

  • wow, do u have a job with wood working? if you dont u should get 1!

  • I love how something home made is sooooo incredibly accurate! Amazing

  • amazing!

  • the only thing I would note is that I see diagonal cuts being very difficult, besides that I would buy this!

  • This is outstanding! Thanks for sharing your creativity

  • nice haloo from sweden

  • awesome!

  • Very impressive. Good job.

  • that is the most amazing piece of machinery i have ever seen. Just a suggestion, maybe you should add a ruler to the depth stopper for multiple cuts and rivets.

  • You're sort of a genius

  • Fantastic!!!

  • Thats absolutely fantastic! Great stuff.

  • nice idea wood is cheap toto should get to the market ^^

  • How did you come up with the design ?!

  • your the new divinchi!

  • its da vinci. but i totally agree with you. :D

  • Very Nice --

  • does it have stops for going side to side

  • doh yes

  • WHOA!

  • dude, thats wicked!

  • dude this is crazey!!!! i mean like i dont know. how long did it take to build it?

  • I'de say, 3 months maybe more!

  • You must have made straight A's in Wood Shop.

  • A's! Dude He Probable Passed in a day!

  • What kind of motor is it?

  • You are a genious! Thanks so much for taking the time to share it with us.

  • I have absolutely no interest in woodworking whatsoever. But the stuff in your videos are so cool that I don't care :P

    Keep it up man!

  • That's extremely cool, man.

  • its so acurate that it looks like it is being controled by a robotic mechanism great work i would pay hundreds for one

  • Pretty cool invention.

  • Made from wood... designed to destroy wood :) thats so wicked

  • Duuude, you could make money out of theese..

    :O keep it up.

  • impressive

  • wow, that is amazing. i'm speechless.

  • holy crap, it's like a CNC machine but made of wood. So cool.

  • simple yet ingenious!

  • more like,' complex yet simple'

  • wow good job

and all boul out of wood your awsome with wood

  • nice one! congrats

  • wow, another impressive invention!

  • I really enjoy watching your complex wood machines go to work. Keep it up!

  • Once again you amaze me.

I'd like to see another invention like the Jenga Gun, though. :P
