There is no way I'd even think about carrying a dear out like that even if I put an orange vest on it. I'd be shot with in 100yds private land or not. I hate poachers.
@grimel2 That is why I warned every one so many times about this. I have been doing this carry for years but never on public property. You do have to use common sense. I am not being mean when I say this but If your hunting around that many people I would find a different place. Thanks for watching. Happy hunting.
:) Loved the breathing sounds when the deer came into view and you shot....haaaa..... that adrenalin rush is something you can't understand until you do it. Good go.
That's an awesome idea! I live in Illinois so it's mostly archery season (3 months total) so I wouldn't have to worry about getting shot for doing it this way. What a great idea.
@Loveoftheoutdoors Thanks for watching I love to hunt your state yall have some great deer. As long as your not worried about poachers with guns you should be just fine. I only use that carry when I know it's safe. It is easier than dragging one my buddy taught me this years ago.
@rotag111 We're pretty spoiled here with the deer we have, that's for sure. Hopefully I'll get a chance to use this method this year (got 2 within the first 3 weeks of season).

@rotag111 I don't hunt around that many people. We have far too many poachers around here to try this on private property.

@grimel2 I'm with ya. I can't stand a poacher no different than a thief in my book.
