  • I'm of course refering to a swing axle rear end, not IRS.

  • When the suspension travels, the spring plate has to twist as well as go up and down. Increasing the thickness makes that twist much harder on everything and would make the ride worse.

  • Do you make them that lift the car? Or

Can you just swap sides with those? Thanks.

  • I liked this part of suspension! have you them to vender? he will have if them, obtains to send to Brazil? How much he costs the 2 parts? He would like you them in my Split VW I hug!

  • Yow Boss. Very, very good video. Very good technical details in reassembly. Just stumbled across your video searching for a detailed video on dismantling and reassembly of the Axle beam front suspension.

I haven't found it yet, but I'm not at all disappointed.

    Thank You soo sooo much.

  • i wanna hang out with ths guy

  • As you can probably see, the car in the video is lowered. I am driving on 3" drop plates which have the proper amount of preload set into them. Preload is the spring force that is set in the spring plate even before the car is set on the ground. Original spring plates that have been re-indexed to lower a vehicle do not have this preload. When installed correctly, the plates perform the function of drop spindles by locating axle position higher up without changing preload.

  • how are these similar to drop spindles?

this only changes the stop points and fixes to in. Doesn't lower the car.
