It has been thoroghly cleaned of guts, bones and scales and it's eaten raw with fresh diced onion or Amsterdam pickled onions.

You can compare it bit to Japanese sashimi.

It's delicious!

0:35 it's called Balut (It means wrapped), it's very popular in the Philippines, they have it in Laos, and Cambodia too! I'm not sure about China though. It's kind of gross, but it's hella' good. I don't like eating the duck/chicken embryo, sometimes I like eating it but there are times that I don't like eating it. Whenever you eat the duck/chicken embryo it feels wierd in your mouth.

Quite a big fish. In my island (in Denmark) they used to eat fish eyes too, usually from cod. It tastes horrible like really salty and gelly-ish yuck. Don't think many do that anymore, perhaps some really old people, but it's pretty disgusting.
