remember this movie from my chilhood and thought Navajo Joe was the best kickass indian ever!!! can't believe it was Reynolds ( no, not the aluminum foil) starring this movie. I used to sing the "navajo joe" songs part all the time.

Had never heard of this movie but ordered it after seeing this tribute :) Have you seen or heard of ARMORED COMMAND it's a WAR movie with Reynolds and I can't find it anywhere? This is one of my favorite Ennio Morricone Soundtrack. Quentin used this one lovely. I love it. I wanna use it for my films but it's already been done. Damnit.

The bandit leader Alfredo Sanchez Brell also played a henchmen in A Fistful of Dollars (1964), For a Few Dollars More, (1965) and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly in 1966 and in Once Upon a Time in the West in 1968 he also played the part of firing squad leader in A Fistful of Dynamite (1971).

1:57 Lorenzo Robledo gets killed by Eastwood in the beginning of A Fistful of Dollars and starred in over 30 Euro Westerns.

@filmmusicstudio Alfredo Sanchez Brell, more commonly known as Aldo Sanbrell (he was a man of many names) died in Alicante in July this year, I met him in 2006 in Madrid and for of the most recognised villains from the 60s and 70s he was a really nice guy.

Nice tribute video! I have this movie and I also have the official musical soundtrack. I became interested in this movie through the Kill Bill 2 film. The closing score I found out was from this movie. So I saw a clip of the movie and had to get it. Great music in this film. It is also a nice movie.

I saw this movie when I was about 10yo on the big screen - I loved it and still do. Too bad Reynolds' Italy experience wasn't a good one, b/c I wish he would have teamed up with the real Sergio Leone. There's no telling what that would've produced! Vastly underrated pic, in my view.

Apparently, Reynolds' parents were Burton Reynolds, who was of a quarter Cherokee ancestry.

Also Reynolds is quoted as saying "I killed ten thousand guys, wore a Japanese slingshot and a fright wig."

However, Navajo Joe was huge European hit and one of Sergio Corbucci's best movies.
