actually this is closed door training my first sifu was gung fu and taichi...we did alot of internal postures and stances for tai-chi with wieghts
esp. the push hands drills.
i remember have wieghted metal bars across the tops of my forarms, must ive been 60-80 lbs.
my sifu was alll for taichi , this type of training
I practice Yi Quan Standing meditation but i never seen the Holding The Ball technic weighted, its better to relax the body and keep the form un weighted for a period of 2 to 30 minutes. Its better to relax and indore the form every minute.
