Man, I think there's some heavy auto-tuning in this recording... I am very surprised.

Does any one else hear it? for instance when the bass sings "every time I look at you, something is on my mind" from 0:41. It's a shame to pitch correct vocals when the tonality is this easy.

@trudbol lachie doesn't use auto tune and neither do any of the other overtones. they are so awesome-ly good at singing they totally dont need it. when you listen to them performing live it sounds exactly the same as it doe on the cd. i actually quiet shocked that you would even think that they used auto-tuning.

@surfdudepenny It's possible to auto-tune live you know (not saying that it happened). I've listened to 0:41 on the bass part and the way the singer jumps very suddenly from note to note, and the robotic-like tone of the voice, makes me think there's auto-tuning. Many artists use it nowadays, it's the fact that it's so audible that makes me cringe. You do hear that the tuning is excellent but the sound of the voice is robotic, don't you?

@trudbol thats how he talks!!! seriously watch some interviews and you'll see what i mean. preferably the one on the bbc breakfast show. they do an interview and then they sing longest time without mics. its soooo good!he might sound robotic just because he has a south african accent cause he lived out there. overtones rule!!! :)

Nowhere near as good as The Chords but at least it is better than the horrible Crew Cuts version. That is the worst remake this side of Michael Bolton's When A Man Loves A Woman or his Dock of the Bay. Bolton should get his teeth ripped out of his head "Oldboy" style.
