Nice(very brief) shot of hydraulic pump moving hydraulic motor but I don't see how it's attached to your bike or how much this system would weigh or cost.
You wouldn't be yanking us around..? Naw, couldn't be.. Ha ha
@pyromaneak47 I think the benefit of this system is that the man is doing engineering and experementing, if this will not be good on a bike then one day it may be found on a motorcycle. But for every development we must have a place to start that is of the less cost. The pedal bike is the most logical place to start with radical ideas like this. This man spends his life in the work shop thinking and engineering, not like many comments that are only sitting on the internet and not doing any life.
@pyromaneak47 Actually the 4X4 is good when on the move but if 1 wheel gets stuck in a didch and slips, all the torqe will be expended by the spinning wheel and no power will go to the other 3. Unless tou have limited slip diff or diff lock.
But if I were going down hill on a bike, I would not want anything putting drag on my front wheel, no breaks and no drag from any drive system. The front wheel is for the steering in this situation and if you skid you will be on your arse.
@pyromaneak47 I do mountain bike, And I'm only being the way I'm being because you're not using your head, but simply making guesses as to what the results will be. Obviously when going down hill, 2 wheel drive will most likely be un-needed. Have you ever ridden up a slippery slope before? I don't know for sure, but I imagine that an AWD bike will go up slippery hills with more ease than just a RWD.
@pyromaneak47 I'm sorry, but you are only guessing that adding weight on the back of a bike in order to increase traction will cancel out the benefit of this 2 wheel drive device. Don't be an idiot.
@pyromaneak47 WOOOPS typo.. and no, I haven't actually yet enrolled into grammar school, not planning on it either.
If mountain climbers don't want the added weight, then the question you should really be asking is; Does the benefit of 2 wheel traction over 1 wheel outweigh the increase in weight?
@TheNotoriousKRP and i think you don't even have what they call, ermmmm....brains...you know what is that?
It's the thing inside your skull....which you probably don't have....because you leave a comment like that also...hmmm it's like a monkey teaching a monkey
I think I have a way to slightly improve the design, because I would love to own one of these bikes. I'm not sure if you've scrapped the idea or already improved it but I think I have an idea you might wanna hear for it.
A little over complecated but a good idea. I use a hydraulic pump (10hp) to drive a golf cart type vehicle (four wheels). Full throttle on the motor and hydraulics then open the valve...It'll burn some rubber.

Not enough visual here to ascertain what your bicycle can do.

I'm guessing there's not much torque since there is no video of this bike being ridden.

Excellent! Are you free to post more details of your drive system.I'm just getting interested in Hydraulic drives.
