No, it is in fact 1/2 (50%) Scale with a nearly 14 ft wing. And, Yes, It had definitely flown previous to this. That would be unsafe and illegal. And Yes, it is exact scale in every way. It ended up taking 3rd place in the Scale Masters Championship in October of 2007 and has qualified every time it has been entered in a Scale Masters Qualifier. I'm the pilot. The big guy in the white jacket - not the little guy in the cockpit. :-)
@aSPITFIRE911 I thought so too at first, but then I looked up the aircraft on Wikipedia. The full-scale model was about the size of a modern glider. It was only 6ft 3in tall.
