You say that religion has been debunked, but there is no truth in this. The things that supposedly disprove "Religion" are theories of science which themselves are always under scrutiny.

I used to be a Christian, which is why i know a lot about Christianity.
Science is separate from faith? So all of the scientific claims in the bible are just jokes?
Should we just pick through the bible and choose the parts we like, and ignore the scientific impossibilities in the rest?
LOL Hawking uses "God" in metaphorical terms. He believes in a complex, higher system; not a bearded guy in the sky who will save you.

I never said God having a beard was in the bible. It is just the common view of God by Christians.
Look at all of the early Christian artwork depicting god. 95% of them show God with facial hair.
Are there any other debates you wish to be destroyed in?

You in no way negated my statement about the depiction of a bearded god. Saying that 95% of the men back then had facial hair in no way negates the fact that God is often viewed as a bearded entity.
I argue on youtube about these subjects because it's fun to me. So no, it's not wasting time.
YOU on the other hand seem to think that when you die, your consciousness goes with you to "heaven" LOL

Yeah...besides the fact that it's scientifically impossible, proven in tests and expirements....
Besides the bible calling earth stationary, which isn't true, it says the earth "takes shape like clay under a seal" (Job 38:14)
What does clay look like under a seal? FLAT. Even Christians agree with this claim.

You say that religion has been debunked, but there is no truth in this. The things that supposedly disprove "Religion" are theories of science which themselves are always under scrutiny.

Are you honestly trying to compare the "scrutiny" of science, to the scrutiny of religion? First off, what does teh theory of relativity have ANYTHING to do with evolution? Secondly, those "faster than light" neutrinos that were discovered, has NOT been proven, and in fact quite the contrary. Everyone in the scientific community no longer accepts the claim.

@vigorousAtheist this past week one of the building blocks of modern science, Einstein's theory of Relativity was heavily challenged when scientists at CERN proved that it is possible to travel faster than the speed of light when they recorded neutrinos doing just that. Both Religion and science seek to understand the universe. Both have strong points and week points. such an educated man as you must clearly be would know that. I do not fault science or religion, I learn in both

This is my life, my one life, the only one I've got any reason to think I'm ever going to get. So you bet your ass I'll make the most of it, rather than living in the constant fear that I'll do something that will exclude me from an eternal one afterwards.
