@Lanceleoghauni So, if someone disagrees with you then they are automatically stupid? I think you need to learn a little bit about creation science so that you can make a scientific comment, rather than a smug insult. Insults are not scientific arguments. Learn how an asexual bacteria can carry out millions of perfectly complimentary mutations to divide into a sexual organism - ALL IN ONE GENERATION, then come back to my channel. Evolution is quack science - most of the world knows it.
@Lanceleoghauni So, anyone who doesn't agree with you is to be pitied? You have a mighty high view of your own opinions. I prefer to stick to science. Let me suggest you learn some more about creation science then come back to my channel. Try to explain to me how an asexual organism can mutate into a sexual one. Literally millions of perfectly complimentary changes - ALL IN ONE GENERATION yet without any survival advantage beforehand. Evolution is quack science - most of the world knows it.
@alyosha24601 Evolution has mounds of evidence you discredit through lack of understanding. I honestly don't expect to change your views, if you're proselytizing this bullshit you're pretty much beyond retrieval from someone of my meager talents. I mostly watch these out of bile fascination. you should probably learn to distinguish between "simplified for ease of understanding, to be expanded upon later" and "malicious lies" though. might save you a lot of heartburn.
@alyosha24601 I've already explained to you repeated how sexuality evolved, it had nothing to do with 'millions of mutations' as the population that began sexual reproducing evolved together as a population, not individually.
If the bone structure as well as the genes of the whale do NOT indicate legs, as the majority of scientists assume (at least, scientists who are not bachelors of horticulture as Dr. Batten), one must ask what that implies.
After all, the Ainu might have been right all along, and Kamuy DID create the world (on the back of a trout, btw). But maybe it was Nanabozho, the Great Rabbit. I like him best, but there still is Rod, Atum, Esege Malan, Ranguini and dozens of others, it’s your choice.
@RutRoodee When the "great rabbit" can accurately predict the future in his book, then I'll pay a little more attention to him. Until then Mr. Rabbit's most important contribution will remain stew.
@RutRoodee First of all, with two exceptions, there are no dates attached. There are some outstanding predictions however. Two of them are occurring as we speak, the geopolitical realignment of Turkey, which is leaving the western fold, and the rise of China. Others include two more Middle Eastern wars, the destruction of Damascus, Russian/Turkish/Iranian & then a China/Eastern invasion of Israel, and a nuclear exchange between America & Russia. The last seven years of the planet will be awful.
I’ve never read the names of these countries in any predictions I have read so far.
It was not, I presume, a prediction by Nostradamus which are curiously open to any ex post interpretation, but, taking into account your detailed citation above, a far more precisely formulated text leaving no room for interpretation of any sort.
Would you be so kind to disclose your source, please, especially the passages which explicitly name "China", "America", "Russia" and "nuclear exchange"?
@RutRoodee Looky, I've been studying the Bible 35 years and have a Masters degree in OT. Prophecies are veiled and fuzzy beforehand, but afterwards clear. You will naturally have difficulties putting things together. But try! OK, China: Rev. 16:12. America/Russian Nuclear Exchange: Ez. 39:6 Damascus: Is. 17:1-5 Turkey: Ez. 38:6 Russian/Iranian Invasion: Ez. 38:1-6 Chip implants!: Rev. 13:16-18. There are even passages about WWII under the text! (Hitler: King of the Nazis. Great slaughter, etc.)
"China" is a VERY vague interpretation of "the kings of the east" to say the least.
The same goes for all the other predictions you mention.
>> Prophecies are veiled and fuzzy beforehand, but afterwards clear.
Yes, funny, isn’t it?
Unambiguous predictions are not exactly one of god’s strength, it seems, the same goes for Nostradamus or the newspaper horoscope, with one difference:
@RutRoodee It is China & allies because elsewhere the number "100 million" is given. There wasn't an army on earth 1/200 that size when it was written. Let me give you an example of "fuzzy": Ezekiel prophecized King Zedekiah would be dragged into exile. Jeremiah said at the same time "he would never see captivity" - they "disagreed". What actually happened later was that he was blinded and led into exile. Who could have guessed? The Bible works when your heart is open to it. Otherwise - silence.
So you flagged my last reply as spam — not unexpected, by the way.
It’s always just a question of time until a discussion is perceived as annoying by christians, even when there are no rude expressions or name calling involved.
But thank you, nonetheless, alyosha24601, I never came across the prophecies you mentioned and I am taking a closer look now.
Not that this would matter much, religiosity will obviously stay a mystery to me, as it has been for more than 5o years now.
@RutRoodee I don't mind talking, but you are a "professional evolution evangelist". You put comments on 50 of my videos all at once and tie up my life. One comment is fine, but I don't want to spend an hour a day debating on Youtube. That's the only reason, not because of your comments. Why, everybody hates me after all, you're no different in quality, just quantity!
I’m afraid that you are mistaken, alyosha: I just commented two of your videos, this is my 9th comment on youtube all in all.
And I certainly do not hate you, on the contrary: you mentioned 35 years of bible study and I envy you for your stamina, I really do.
My only reason for commenting was the obvious fact that biology is not exactly your area of expertise and seeing you stumble on it I ventured to stumble upon yours.
@alyosha24601 Sorry, I mistook you for my #1 pest and parasite. There is some divorced priest of evolution out there somewhere that now spends his whole life going to creationists' channels on Youtube and posting scores of comments every single day. Mostly insults. He constantly changes accounts. His goal is irritation. I mistook you for that guy. Sorry. I do try to treat people with respect here, but honestly, evolutionists leave me 80% insults so it's my "default expectation"! Sorry.
Legs on whale embryos? Comical! What look like "legs" grow into a totally different structure! Some science that is, "This appendage sort of 'looks' like a leg, so that must 'prove' evolution! Whales must have come from hippos (or whatever). Evolution is quack science.
@MarshallKliney That's the point, what are the legs in embryological development aren't legs after they're born. Not only are they legs in the embryo, they also have the genes for legs.
No, ignorance of evolution does not constitute it being 'quack science'
@DoomsdayWars "Genes for legs?" You are mistaken. This idea is a bit like the mythical "geological column" It only exists in textbooks. Your "science" is wishful thinking that fits evolutionary theory/dogma, but not experimental reality. Often these structures, no, usually these structures grow into totally different features. Evolution is quack science.
These deceptions are in current biology textbooks all around the world - at least one evolutionist is patently dishonest. Evolution is the modern state mandated creation myth; it's "quack science!"
@alyosha24601 No they're not. Haeckel's embryos haven't been printed as actual representations in over a century. We have photomicrographs now that show exactly what was predicted, pharyngeal pouches on human embryos, primate tails, whale legs, snakes feet and so on.
All perfectly explained by descent with modification, not explainable at all by creation.
@CreationismMirrored Many textbooks still have this bunk. One example is above. A decade ago, just about all of them had them. So, if I can find you ten textbooks this decade with this fraud will you become a creationist? Evolution is a religious dogma - not science.
It's sort of amusing to watch people rant about things they have no idea about. Amusing and sad at the same time.

Or twenty, if that suits you better.

At last you wrote something that we two (and believers in Nostradamus and newspaper horoscopes) can agree on.
My option is silence, by the way.
Your option seems to be another one.
It’s interesting that the old christian value of modesty and silence has made way for loud advertising on all available channels.
So be it, then.
Have a nice armageddon.

@alyosha24601 That's a pretty retarded reasoning, even for you. But you wouldn't find one because there hasn't been for nearly a century.
Also, I like how you dodged my point regarding legs on whale embryos and the like and didn't even attempt to explain it via creation.
Nope, sorry, your ignorance still doesn't constitute evolution being a religion.
