  • I am a 'G'.

  • This video is now 44th most watched GBV video in YouTube history. Thanks fellow GBV lovers. Going to see the CLASSIC LINE-UP in Columbus tonight. Its been a long time waiting, but finally a reunion! Still waiting for Bob to team-up with Doug.

  • GBV 10-13-10 at the Riv in Chicago! Somebody bring a camera! We can't wait!

  • YOU GOT YOUR WISH MY FRIEND;D & SO DID I!. GUIDED BY VOICES IN L.A.

  • I want to go to there

  • one of my favorite songs

  • wow, that shit kicks some SERIOUS ass. Ah, Bob. Drunk and sweaty, just like we like him.

  • Wasted and fucking amazing. That guitar solo gets me every time. It's my ring tone!

  • well im a woman and i like gbv

  • LOOK AT HIM... LOL

  • Just wish that they had played in the UK more, only got to see them once. That once being the best once in a lifetime experience anybody could ever have.... EVER!!!!

  • Haha. That guy just wasted a beer at the beginning.

  • great vid...captures the live essence.

  • Wow, I got see GBV from 1995 to 1997 and then later in 2002-3 in Orlando, Chapel Hill & D.C., those early years were so insane! I remember people soaking Bob in beer by everyone just in the crowd flinging beer at him. He was so trashed and so soaked in beer but sung every song with total perfection. Such a great moment in my life. I actually lifted Bob back up to the stage. He's a big fat heavy man. A genius forever and always in my mind.

  • Fuck Yeah! This Song Makes Me Move, And Makes Me Want A Miller Lite And Put My Fists In The Air, Oh The Mighty GBV!

  • Ladies love this band...or at least I do. My ex introduced me to them back in the 90's and I can't get enough. Seen them a few times, recorded a good live sho in London Ontario ( 3 1/3 hours!!!).

  • you can't rock better than this...

  • This tune has a great riff at the beginning after the single-note thing. Anybody tell me how to play that sucker?

  • there are tabs on the internet

  • Ah, on the internet? OK, I'll check on the internet. I was looking in encyclopedias, the phone book, and in the Bible. Thanks for the protip!

  • lol clearly my sarcasm was a little less blatant than yours. It is a thin lizzy riff that can be found through google - if you were already looking on the internet you wouldn't have asked!

  • I'll drink to that! Hell yeah!!

  • Amazing

  • One a my favorite GBV songs!

  • Looks like this was a cool show. Bob should try something different and release an album a month in 2010. You know he has the songs to do it.

  • not a woman within 8,000 miles of that show.

  • Not true, not true at all. The ladies LOVE GBV.

  • Friends, there's at least ONE woman who loves this band! It's no fault of theirs, but there are guy bands, and there are girl bands. Many would concur that GBV, with notable exceptions--is a guy band.

  • @kc7fys

im a woman and i like them. i suppose im the only one then

  • @preyaswolves my wife likes them. only the listenable stuff, though. i like the drek!

  • @fulton3d hahaha

  • omg.... wish i was there.... not enough bob in my diet.... lol

  • I love this clip, the song is so elemental, a true force of nature.

  • This song rocks so much, you just gotta drop your brew.....can't stop replaying and watching that part.... pretty damn funny.

  • I am a 'G'

  • Lol. "Look at him!"

  • Gillard is an absolute monster. and I know this is Tobin's song but Bob kills this.

  • nope.

It was written, and originally recorded solo by Doug Gillard. GbV took it then as their own.

    And yes, he's a monster.

  • I stand chastened/corrected.

  • Dang! Shit! FucK! Rock ya'll..

  • Dang!

  • ..Pollard just points to guitarist when solo starts up and states "look at him" hahaha classic! great great tune...love this band

  • gbv lovers, thank you for making this the most watched gbv clip over the past 9 months! 63rd most watched gbv clip in you tube history. the power of pollard and gillard. bob all i want for christmas is a 10 city reunion tour in 2009!

  • I saw this tour in Milwaukee. Some idiot threw a highball glass at the end and busted up the club is open sign. Missed Bob's head by inches.

  • fuck yeah!!!!!!!!!!! great song!!!!

  • I ate, drank and shat GBV during 2000. Great memory right here. Thanks.

  • This sound quality is surprisingly awesome.

  • That is the GREATEST song EVER.

  • If I could play bass for/with Robert at least one time, then life'd be complete.

  • Did they have "The Club Is Open" display ever-present on this tour, or what? Cheers

  • definitely greatest guitar riff known to man

  • I'll second that! This riff f'n kills... Looks like Doug has the capo on the 7th or 8th fret of his LP. The club is open...

  • its on the 7th, i finally found a good tab, but unfortunately its not very fun to play :-( i was kinda hoping it would be...but at least its amazing

  • cool, thanks for the capo tip. is it just mostly open chords (but up the neck)?

  • I have the facts and I'm voting yes.

  • The Club is Open

  • 'grab the setlist..' hilarious.

  • Is this where do I vote for the tour?

    I approve this message.

  • Perfect!

  • Hot damn! Best GBV song ever! ^-^
