the voodoo blues can be used for different purposes as a booster.
the voodoo 1 is a typical hendrix distortion sound, can also be used for deep purple style oe other who used heavy saturated sounds strong and dirty not razor shaped.
the voodoo bass is not similar to voodoo one, it made great bass frequencies, in a mighty johnny winter way. I think the difference can be heard in the demo. Maybe the examples are not well choosen.
Well, I just purchased the first Roger Mayer Voodoo TT dual band pedal to be shipped to an end user here in the states. I heard Roger worked with Mike Landau from L.A. and blended the Voodoo-1 and Voodoo-Boost into one pedal. It may be over the top for me as a Voodoo Blues may have suit my needs fine, but we shall see.
Thanks for doing all the demos. I would like to see the Voodoo Boost also, but I may just pick up the Blues one as it is very cool. Would you believe in metropolitan Chicago (6 million people?) there is not a music store that has any RM pedals! It's a travesty! I was honored to speak with Roger directly by phone last month. I used to have the Voodoo-1, Voodoo Vibe, and RM wah guts in my Crybaby, but lost all that stuff in a fire.
Voodoo one in this demo sounds like regular fuzz/overdrive pedal, actually to dirty for my taste, also very similar to the Voodoo Bass, all most the same. But again Voodoo Bass sound interesting, dark but powerful. 5 Stars for the demo!!!
I've been on a tone quest for over a decade , wicked tones, Great Playing as well

Very good tone indeed!! Man, you gotta do a demo with the spitfire and the stone, there are no demos of these two in the youtube world.
Congrats.
