  • Tiny tuned the four strings D-G-B-E, the same as the four highest strings on a 6-string guitar, and he used very heavy gauge strings to get a big sound. The tenor guitar conventionally is tuned differently, like a banjo, I believe

  • @count57 According to Dave Rubin's book "The Birth Of The Groove" (ISBN 0-7935-5166-8) Tiny tuned his guitar in 5ths (C-G-D-A) the same as tenor banjo.

  • The only way you'll ever spend a night with ANY woman is for money, chump.

  • Sort of like a giant ukelele! The tenor guitar was unique. Fabulous sound. No frettapping or "modern" pretentious shit from Grimes..just pure magical playing and the right notes.

  • Four String Guitar ???

  • but then the words would be backwards

  • aha,he had his guitar on the other side last clip-film must be reversed
