@count57 According to Dave Rubin's book "The Birth Of The Groove" (ISBN 0-7935-5166-8) Tiny tuned his guitar in 5ths (C-G-D-A) the same as tenor banjo.

Sort of like a giant ukelele! The tenor guitar was unique. Fabulous sound. No frettapping or "modern" pretentious shit from Grimes..just pure magical playing and the right notes.
