الغرب الى فتره قريبه كانو يطلقون عليه الخليج الفارسي ارضاءا لحليفهم الشاه ملك ايران السابقه وتعودو على التسميه
الفتره الاخيره بعد التوتر في العلاقات بينهم وبين ايران بداؤو يطلقون عليه الخليج العربي
وبرأيي ان التسميه الصحيحه هي الخليج العربي لان سواحله يسكنها العرب حتى السواحل الايرانيه المطله عليه غالبيه سكانها من العرب

لان عندا الکتب الدراسیہ تدرس علی اساس انہ الخلیج الفارسی(مع ان بلدنا اقرب للعرب من الفرس)، وجمیع دول العالم تطلق علیہ اسم الخلیج الفارسی، ما عدا الدول العربیہ۔۔۔

سمى بالخليج الفارسي(بحر فارس) من قبل ملك فارس من قبل المبيلاد
و بالقرن الاول سمى بالخليج العربي من الرومان
و العرب اثناء الفتوحانت كانوا يسمونه (خليج البصره) و لكن ايضا كان دراج اسم (خليج فارس)
تاريخيا الاسم الاقدم (خليج فارس) وهذا لا خلاف عليه
اما الاعتراف الرسمي فايضا (خليج فارس) دوليا, الا ان الامم المتحده بوثائقها العربية تكتب خليج العرب!
