They should have had this in the movie, if only for the sake of the Harry Potter fans who knew the significance of it.

But they didn't, so at least it's in the deleted scenes where anyone who cares can find it and watch it. As a Harry Potter fan myself, I watch the deleted scenes anyways.

The song is called, "In Noctem" If I'm not mistaken, and it's from the soundtrack in the deleted scene. No wonder I watched HBP all over again and couldn't find the track in the movie! (For some awkward reason I have this on my iPod too.)

Arrgh! Severus Snape just made me squee with glee in 10 seconds of subtle facial expression. It doesn't matter what he does, Severus out-shines and steals the screen from everyone else every time. He is just downright, drop-dead SEXY!! Severus is entrancing as hell!

I love David Yates over all, but he really blew it deleting this one. it would have fit in perfectly with the pace and rhythm of the film, and build up to dumbledore's death. why did he cut this?

I love this scene - whoever decided to delete it from the movie should be shot out of a cannon! The music is so apt and moody - you can almost hear the storm building :D

This is an absolutely heartbreaking scene. I really wish they would have kept it in. In just a few seconds, Rickman manages to capture all of Snape's anguish and misgivings about what lies ahead and what he has promised to do. I'm hoping that by the time the Ultimate Edition is released, this will make its way into that cut.

And does anyone have any idea what music the choir is singing? It sounds like it may be Latin but I can't tell.

I think this scene is while harry and dumbledore are at the cave and the dark mark is over the castle........because if dumbledore was dead, snape should not be at hogwarts
