  • Totally a Fleetwood Mac situation going on.

  • in love with the drummer and jumping from one member to another...that is a slut thing to do. Black hearted she was.

  • HA the most difficult thing he's ever gone through...thank god he was never starving or raped or some shit...

  • Hey whats good for the goose is real good for the gander.....Am i right ladies??

  • Watching a documentary on arguably one of the best vocalists of the last 30 years and the biggest topic for discussion is Ann's weight. If that's not a sign of American times (the fattest country in the world that still thinks it has the right to criticize fat people) I don't know what is. Pathetic.

  • thanks for this documentary on 2 of my favorite girls

  • What the hell was Mushroom records thinking?

  • LOL LOL LOL

there is a spoof song of dog & butterfly !!

called Doin it Doggystyle by Bob Rivers...its sounds just like ANN !!

  • What's a couple extra pounds when you've got the very best voice of an entire generation? These women are enormously gifted, and their music - a gift.

  • Genetics made Ann heavy. She always battled weight, self admittedly starved herself in the late 70's to keep it off, then gained steadily when she ate like a normal person. Was she chunky in 1985? Sure, but she was still beautiful, and it wasn't until 1990 that her weight really exploded. For roughly a decade a naturally obese Ann managed to keep looking good in an entertainment world where even a 2 lb gain causes the media to tear you a new one - not bad at all IMO.

  • @The Whaler fan The reason Ann's weight got so big in the 80's was all the wears she starved herself. When you hold yourself off eating and then start to take in food again (especially in the way that a 70's band would indulge) her weight quadrupled because the body wants to hold onto what it's been given, hence the weight gain.

  • @TheWhalerfan

You got it right, explanation and all. Thanks.

  • Interesting to note...Ann was quite attractive and not at all fat in the 70's. She gotten fat after that for sure...but perhaps the break-up with Michael turned her into a porker. I studied this stuff in college. Low self-esteem or some crap like that.

  • @mcentepede she had a fling with mark andes (bass player) after fisher

  • i love when ann had that big head of curly hair - she was so cool.

  • Real class act you were, Mushroom . asshats.

  • @jas22 at least Barracuda came from it, and that song is fucking awesome.

  • So many of us love Heart. Saddens me to see people point fingers at band members as if to say, 'How dare you change my music?' Band members are human. Human failings and virtues change people. The music follows 'the heart.' Yes, I am partial to Heart's earlier stuff. I'm also partial to the Beatles' earlier stuff. Am I angry they didn't match my hopes for more of the same? That wouldn't be fair of me. And too bad DaVinci didn't have just one more Mona Lisa in him ;) Must've been another woman.

  • Roger Fischer was such a great part of the band's early sound, killer lead guitar work...

  • Oh man, Nancy's hilarious! "When I was 19, I was ready for a little action." HAAHAH!

  • Ann is so articulate.

  • My Dad told me about the lesbian lovers scandal. That's crazy.

  • damn that bastard, Michael Fisher

  • wtf, hes a pimp. dated a rock goddess, co-produced some of the greatest music ever made, toured the world with one of the greatest bands of all time... fisher = win

  • Montreal was famous in the 70's for catching on first to great bands... Dreamboat Annie is still played on the radio there all the time

  • I am from montreal :) but I was born in 94... fuck.

    70's rock!

  • Yah. I know EXACTLY how you feel. I am a '94 kid,aswell. .

  • Cool .... I'm not alone! lol but Why???? Why??? Why the fuck I wasn't born in 1960??? 94 sucks! lol

  • Don't you worry. It's not the time period in which we were born, but the people who are born in that time-period. All I'm saying is if you you want legendary music, you have to be the one to make it.

  • Yeah I know but... I'm just obsessed with the 70's, not just the music. The fashion, the cars the people, everything! Everything was cooler

  • Yaa. . . . I have to agree with you

  • @AlexisGuitar94 NO KIDDING! It's so exasperating being a 90s kid, huh?

  • Yeah, almost exactly the same as Fleetwood Mac; Stevie dated Mick Fleetwood after she broke with Lindsey. Thanks for posting this!

  • Rodger looking over at Nancy on Stage like Linsey Buckingham to Stevie Nicks as he would sing " you can go your own way" as Stevie was then dating drummer Mick Fleetwood like Nancy was datind Mike . 2 different bands but so much in common.

  • Ann and Nancy= legends

  • @ranchoboyeros sluts
