@kylieannify I agree with the gain being set too high; it's kinda noisy. It can be difficult to find a happy medium between it being too high and noisy and too low to get a good metal crunch, especially when dealing with a tube amp that crunches more with volume. I used to have a few Satch albums, but I'm more into neo-classical and Eastern music a la Becker and Friedman. Eddy's a great guitar player, but I'm not really into Van Halen style rock. I mostly listen to classical and metal.

Later on, I changed the amp model to a 5150, but left everything else the same.
I actually had to film this video 4 or 5 times,moving lamps & removing lamp shades before I had enough light that you could see me.Notice the lamp right in front of me.I'm also out of shape from being on a med that caused weight gain,but I started lifting again & have lost about 30 lbs.so far. I got my camera for $90 at Walgreens,so it doesn't exactly have the best sound,video,or lighting.I have 100 watt bulbs in my living room now,so that should alleviate some of the problem in future videos.

The Blister Exists might have a thrash0like riff but "(sic)" and"people=shit" are a lot more aggresive. On "Slipknot" and "Iowa" there are much death metal influences like blastbeat drumming in the intro for "people=shit".

To be honest, I really haven't heard a lot of stuff by them. I've heard "Wait and Bleed," "Vermillion," and maybe a couple songs from a live concert I saw on t.v. a long time ago. From what I heard, they seem okay. I'm willing to check them out though. Any suggestions of albums/songs to check out?
