I can only agree with you: it's one of the best scores I have ever heard, too! Yes, there are other composers outthere with beautiful scores, but this one has simplicity, innocence and a lot of emotion. Even if you did not see the movie, it still moves you and it moves you so much more when you know the story, Malena's story, which is an incredible, epic one. When you know the story, well, that's when this score starts to make even more sense....! It's so amazing and so right!
