i've had that happen (not india) but the "how'd you like to go to _____" I have been known to say, "are you nuts? I hate travelling for work, i don't do it as much as i have- i'm usually stuffed in a conference room for 10 hours, then expected to hang out with other company a-holes. lol. but for you, congrats and travel safe! peace.

LOL..no, I am not right there next to the Sr. VP. However, I've worked with him on similar projects and he was in India with me the last time I was there...so we're not strangers by any definition. And yes, I appreciate and feel honored that he picked me. And yeah, if you check out the India Slideshow..it gives a taste of the experience. However, money must be spent in order to make money..so it's one of the few times we invest in travel. Okay, so from my previous entry, you see that I haven't yet gotten to your slide show from India. I'm hoping this weekend to get more time to do back videos. How does Darla and Kaia like this spur of the moment I'm outta here type of thing? Wow. Such short notice.
Darla and Kaia have learned to adjust to this kind of travel that I have to do. Usually, my "no advance warning" travel is within the U.S. and sometimes just for a couple of days. My long trips usually have at least a couple or few weeks of notice. Darla is quite the trooper while I'm away...at least from what I can tell.
What I'm dreading most is the 10 1/2 hour time difference...and coming back after only a week of trying to adjust to it...I will likely be bleary-eyed for 3 or so solid weeks because of this trip lol. Thanks for watching! -Doug
